The 51-year-old pointed out his position on the team as Toto Wolff is on equal footing to the German autogiant and Ineos when it comes to making decisions. Wolff stated, “But in the end, here I am, I’m in my own company, I’m one of three shareholders.” The Austrian further expressed his gratitude for his role. He said, “I honestly think I’ve had a great opportunity to be where I am.” Wolff has overseen 8 consecutive constructors’ championships and 6 title wins for Lewis Hamilton.

Presently, Mercedes are struggling to fight for the title, with Hamilton and George Russell struggling to battle outright for the race wins against Red Bull.

However, the Mercedes team boss has a lot of work to do to bring the team back to the top of the grid.
