There have been various rumors that Ronda Rousey has left the WWE. Her possible last appearance was at SummerSlam, where she squared off against her real-life friend, Shayna Baszler, in an MMA rules match in a losing effort. Since then, she has been silent on her rumored departure from the company. However, Ronda broke her silence for the first time in over a week.

The former Women’s champion recently posted a video message on her social media handles. However, it was a promotional video for her sponsors, DraftKings Sportsbook, featuring the upcoming UFC 292 on August 19. Moreover, Rousey advertised the event to her followers by providing a discount, seemingly inviting more users to the application.

Ronda Rousey uploaded the video with the caption, “There’s a big UFC weekend ahead. Have you made your picks yet? Make it official, Promo code: ROUSEY.” Fans have waited for an official confirmation of her departure since last weekend. Therefore, they were disappointed to see her not post regarding it. You can check out the video here.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet had two opposite runs in terms of quality in the company. Her first run helped the women’s division gain more prominence as she featured at the first all-women’s pay-per-view, Evolution. Furthermore, she would end up taking part in the main event of WrestleMania 35, making history with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

Despite a successful first run, Ronda Rousey’s final stint in the WWE was heavily underwhelming. She was involved in poor matches on almost every show she wrestled on. The worst received ones came against Liv Morgan, which cooled the latter’s momentum and popularity. However, legends such as Mick Foley defended Ronda Rousey, claiming that she played a significant role in the promotion.

Ronda Rousey is seemingly done with the WWE. On her way out, she decided to put over her long-time friend, Shayna Baszler. The pair faced each other at SummerSlam in an MMA Rules match, with the latter picking up the win. Recently, Kurt Angle shared his thoughts on the whole situation.

While speaking on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE legend claimed that the former women’s champion didn’t have to lose in her final match. “Ronda Rousey probably could call her own shots about whether she wants to win or lose,” he said. The Olympic gold medalist further added that it was “cool” on Rousey’s side to help her friend get over, even more than she ever was in the company.

Obviously, the Hall of Famer was an integral part of Rousey’s initial run. The pair teamed up to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34. It is claimed by many fans to be one of the most impressive debuts in the WWE.
