LeBron James, a prominent player for the Los Angeles Lakers, recently reflected on his four years with the Miami Heat. As per the star player himself, he would still be a dominant player even if he had never gone to South Beach.
For context, from 2010 to 2014, he performed at South Beach for four seasons. Additionally, James made it to the NBA Finals in each of his four seasons with the Heat, winning back-to-back World Championships in 2012 and 2013.
Taking to his official Twitter handle (now known as X), James further doubled down on his controversial statement, this time, calling himself the “chosen one”. For the uninitiated, James told ESPN’s Dave McMenamin prior to the Lakers vs. Heat game on Monday that his illustrious career wouldn’t be very different without his time in Miami.
He further clarified his take by stating that even though he would not have had as many rings, he would still have been the dominant figure, just as he is now.
I think I would still be at this level no matter if I would’ve came here (Miami) or not. Let’s not get it twisted: the four years I was here, it was amazing. I loved everything about it. Loved this franchise, this franchise is top tier, it’s one of the best franchises in the world.LeBron James said via USA Today
Continuing further, he added:
But as far as my career, my career was going to be my career as far as individually, because I know how much I put into the game and I know how much I strived to be as great as I can be. (But) as far as what I was able to learn here was second to none, that’s for sure.
The 38-year-old enjoyed great success during his time with the team, playing alongside Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, two more superstars, as well as a strong group of supporting players.
When LeBron James was playing for Miami, the team averaged 56 wins per season. In the 294 games he participated in during the regular season, James recorded 26.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.7 steals.

LeBron James recently announced that his oldest son, Bronny James, is gradually making a comeback on the basketball court after a terrifying episode of cardiac arrest he suffered during a USC practice session in the summer.
Bronny had a successful surgery on October 2. By the end of this month, he hinted, the 19-year-old ought to have a better idea of when he can play again.

He said:
Bronny's recovery is steadily getting better. He is undergoing rehab, and with each passing week, he can do more and more. Should he get the clearance, it won't be long before Bronny is back on the court, practicing with his teammates, and involved in real game situations.
Bronny James is currently a player for the NCAA team at the University of Southern California. According to earlier rumors, the Lakers might try to select Bronny in the 2024 draft. In order to keep him next to none other than his own father, LeBron James.
That’s not all; as per the professional basketball star, he would like to play for the same NBA team as his son. However, due to the tragic incident, Bronny faced a setback in his professional career.
