UFC star Conor McGregor makes his most anticipated Hollywood debut this year. He featured alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the remake of the 1989 film Road House. Recently, the production released the film’s poster and announced the release date. As such, the filming of a fight sequence leaked online, hurling reactions from the fans.

Earlier, the film crew shot a few scenes during an actual UFC event to bring the film as close to reality as possible. In the film, Jake Gyllenhaal and former UFC fighter Jay Hieron acted in a fight scene during UFC 285. Conor McGregor facilitated the shoot and was present at the event himself. A video taken by someone in the audience leaked online, showcasing Gyllenhaal knocking out Hieron in an MMA fight.

Although the scenes featuring Conor McGregor and Jake Gyllenhaal have remained confidential, ‘The Notorious’ was rumored to have a pivotal role in the film. Further, the film’s shooting at live events promoted it among UFC fans.

‘Road House’ is set to premiere on Amazon Prime on March 21, 2024. Doug Liman, who directed films like The Edge of Tomorrow and Bourne Identity, directed Road House, increasing the fans’ excitement. With the addition of global MMA star Conor McGregor, the film grew multifolds in popularity. As such, fight fans were excited to witness ‘The Notorious’ on screen.
