Fortnite’s Season 6 partnership with Brazilian football star Neymar Jr produced an official in-game cosmetic set that will arrive in the game on April 27. The worldwide announcement that occurred earlier today divulged what fans could expect to see when Neymar Jr steps into the Battle Pass.

While Fortnite players will need to earn the various cosmetics, Epic Games also revealed a Neymar Jr cup in fortnite. Participants can win one of seven custom soccer boots and an exclusive emote.

The first-ever Neymar Jr Cup is a solo tournament open to all seven competitive regions. Players will need to compile points based on the tournament’s scoring system, which we’ll get into later. It will occur on April 28, one day after Neymar Jr’s Fortnite set arrives in the Season 6 Battle Pass.

Fortnite tournament scoring systems are crucial for any competitors to understand. They typically offer elimination and placement points, which the game automatically adds together after each match. Neymar Jr Cup participants will earn one point per elimination and 30 points for every Victory Royale. Here is the complete scoring system:

  • 5th: 19 points

  • 7th: 16 points
  • 8th: 15 points

This tournament offers no monetary prize, but offers something unique and exclusive to players. Team Neymar Jr is offering up seven custom-designed soccer boots themed to his Fortnite skin. It’ll require a first-place finish to claim the top prize in each region. Players that reach eight points will win a free Spinner Takes All emote.
