Arman Tsarukyan recently scored his biggest career win yet when he beat Charles Oliveira at UFC 300. However, he also punched a spectator in the audience on the same day. As such, UFC CEO Dana White is expecting a lawsuit soon. However, Tsarukyan justified his actions after his UFC 300 win.

Dana White addressed the incident at the post-fight press conference. He does not blame Tsarukyan for punching the fan in the crowd during his walkout and expressed that he is ready for any legal confrontation.

Yeah, you might not want to hang over things and grab people when they’re walking out. These guys are all f****** hyped up and whatever; I’m sure we’re probably going to get sued but we’ll deal with that on Monday, too.

The clip of Tsarukyan’s walkout went viral on social media. People saw him attempting to shake a fan’s hand. However, suddenly he moved around and appeared to punch the guy in the face.

The Armenian later told Bloody Elbow his side of the story and why he punched the man in the crowd. Tsarukyan said that the man gave him the finger which was why he wanted to punch him back. He basically said he would not take such disrespect from anybody and he would punch every time. The lightweight prospect explained that he would not act if the person was far away but if they were close, someone would ultimately end up getting hurt.

I will not sue. That never crossed my mind. My first thought was I hope I don’t get kicked out. I’d like to apologize to Arman for provoking him by flipping him off.
