George Kittle was never going to miss the chance to see CM Punk take on ‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple-threat match at WWE WrestleMania 41. The San Francisco 49ers’ star tight end flew from California to Allegiant Stadium in Vegas for the festivities.

Kittle witnessed Jey Uso defeating Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship. It was Jey’s first major title in his two-decade-long WWE career.

However, Kittle, like every other wrestling fan across the world, was waiting for the main event to start between Punk, Reigns, and Rollins. After Reigns and Rollins completed their iconic walks to the ring, it was time for Punk to make his grand entry.

Punk has wrestled in eight WrestleManias before the 2025 edition, but he was making his return to wrestling’s biggest event for the first time since 2013. So, the atmosphere needed to match the occasion.

The WWE had a special treat in store for the fans. Rock legends Living Colour (electric guitarist Vernon Reid, lead vocalist Corey Glover, drummer Will Calhoun, and bassist Doug Wimbish) had the honor of playing CM Punk’s intro song, ‘Cult of Personality,’ as he walked out to face, accompanied by the ‘Wise Man’ Paul Heyman.

Former NFL punter and ESPN contributor and part-time wrestling commentator Pat McAfee was at the announcer’s table, observing and taking in the mesmerizing moment along with 49ers All-Pro TE George Kittle, who stood close to the rings with his friends.

The three-way battle kicked off with several exchanges of punches and powerbombs. The balance of the bout began to shift in Reigns’ favor as the Original Tribal Chief nearly knocked out Punk with a Superman Punch. The 46-year-old survived a fatal blow to stay in the fight.

Meanwhile, Heyman was circling around the ring, hatching a plan to give Punk an advantage. Heyman dug out a chair from under the ring and handed it to Punk. The fight looked over—or so the fans thought when Heyman put his fist through his friend’s groin and incapacitated him.

Heyman’s betrayal looked complete, but the old trickster had one more trick up his tuxedo sleeve. He gave the chair to Reigns and, when he was distracted, attacked his groin as well. Both Punk and Reigns were down, and it was clear who Heyman had chosen to be his next prodigy.

Seth Rollins took the chair and handed the defenseless Reigns a complete beatdown.

Paul Heyman is the cockroach who always finds himself at the top of the food chain, whom you cannot kill. He continues to be with the best in the business. And now Paul Heyman has aligned himself with Seth ‘freakin’ Rollins.

The announcer rightfully said

Will Kittle be back for more?

WrestleMania 41 is a two-day event. Kittle may have enjoyed the thrilling matches like the triple threat match between Punk, Reigns, and Rollins on Day 1, but Day 2 could easily top that.

The San Francisco 49ers kick off their 2025 training schedule on April 22. So George Kittle will have ample time on his hands to watch Rhodes take on Cena in the final bout of WrestleMania 41.
