“Ain’t I seen none of them movies,” Current WWE Champion goes off on Jason Momoa as the Aquaman actor fails to recognize him

It seems like Jason Momoa hasn't caught up with pro wrestling for a while now. He doesn't have an idea about Jey Uso.

As much as the folks passionate about pro wrestling rave about its recuperating mainstream appeal, that form of entertainment isn’t as popular in pop culture terms as it used to be back in the day. A recent instance might have given an evidence supporting the notion. Aquaman actor Jason Momoa failed to recognize WWE’s brand-new World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso when his name was brought up by Jon Stenvall on The Backstage Experience.

Forbes contributor Alfred Konuwa asked Uso in the following clip if he had anything to say to Momoa in return. The Yeet Master made fun of the 45-year-old’s tribal tattoos, questioning their origins in a lighthearted manner. The reigning champion then quipped that he also hasn’t seen any of Momoa’s movies.

….and I ain’t seen none of them movies. How about that? Alright I’m hating, I saw all of them………Big fan dog.

However, Uso soon admitted that he was just being a hater and that he’s a fan of the Hawaiian star. While it’s no secret that the OG Bloodline member has risen up the ranks in WWE of late, Uso might be a far cry from reaching a level of recognition in Hollywood. The 39-year-old tag team specialist unlocked the biggest milestone of his career at WrestleMania 41.

Trading blows with his polar opposite in Gunther, the once-accused hothead curbed the menace of The Ring General. The former Right Hand Man of Roman Reigns made the Austrian tap out in a stunning fashion. Jey’s twin brother, Jimmy Uso, also came out to congratulate him, which marked Big Jim’s first appearance since getting brutalized by Gunther on Raw a few weeks ago.

Does Jason Momoa have a WWE doppelganger?

Some people firmly believe that Jason Momoa does have his doppelganger in WWE. And guess what? He’s none other than Jey Uso’s cousin, Roman Reigns. The star once got told by Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast how often the fans compare The OTC with Momoa. The latter went on to mention that he’s also been met with similar comparisons a couple of times.

There’s a viral clip from one of WWE’s live events where Reigns was competing. A fan near ringside yelled at The Tribal Chief, joking that he loved Reigns in Aquaman. The record-setting Undisputed WWE Champion was quick to pick up the reference and quipped that the movie would’ve made more money if he was cast in it. Speaking of The Head of the Table, he recently incurred a huge loss at WrestleMania.

His longtime special counsel, Paul Heyman, betrayed his client in the middle of that ring in Vegas and aligned with Seth Rollins. Before taking Reigns out with a low blow, Heyman turned on CM Punk, whom he fondly used to call his best friend. Interestingly, Punk wasn’t the one who got pinned. Rollins, after going rogue, smashed a steel chair right across Reigns’ back and followed it up with a curb stomp to get the win over his former Shield brother.

Who confronted Jey Uso on Raw after WrestleMania 41?

Now that Jey Uso has done the unthinkable, he’s only getting started. Carrying the coveted belt around a razor-sharp Raw roster is going to be a challenge for the 10-time tag team champ. On Raw after WrestleMania 41, The Yeeter of Worlds was confronted by a returning Sami Zayn, who’d been out of action since that grueling unsanctioned match with Kevin Owens at Elimination Chamber.

Zayn lamented about missing WrestleMania, and he almost didn’t come to Las Vegas. However, the former IC Champion changed his mind once Uso captured the World Heavyweight Championship. The erstwhile El Generico said he wanted to be the first person to stand across from Jey and tell him how much he deserved it.

Afterwards, Jimmy Uso also made his way out and the three of them did their signature taunt, which was prevalent during the OG Bloodline era. Though it’s merely a speculation at this point, a section of the fans believes that Zayn could soon turn his back on The Yeet Master. The two have enough history and who knows if there’s another chapter to be added?
