This week’s main event on Raw in Omaha saw CM Punk making his return to cost Seth Rollins a potential World Heavyweight Championship steal from Jey Uso. In what was an absolute melee at ringside, Bron Breakker tried tripping Uso off the top rope, which was enough for Rollins to capitalize. To even the odds for the Yeet Master, Sami Zayn came out.
He jumped Breakker out of nowhere off a hardcam-facing barricade. The Unpredictable Badass soon made a banged-up Zayn regret his actions as the former Wolfdogs member speared the Canuck in half. Just when it looked like Uso, the world champ, was in all sorts of trouble, Punk’s music hit, and the crowd went bonkers.
The former AEW star had brought a steel chair with him, which he shoved in Breakker’s face to write him off the equation momentarily. Punk made a beeline for Rollins, and as soon as it happened, the ongoing world title match between The Visionary and The Yeet Man was called off due to a disqualification. The Best in the World battered both Rollins and Breakker with multiple chair shots.

Punk and Zayn stood tall to end the show, with The Architect pulling his protégé from harm’s way and retreating. It looks like a tag team showdown is on the horizon. The Paul Heyman-advised duo of Rollins and Breakker brutalized Zayn on last week’s Raw.
This time, however, Punk was the difference maker. Roman Reigns, who was also taken out by the heelish duo on Raw after WrestleMania, was nowhere to be found. He’s not expected back until early June.
What happened after Raw went off air?
Amid a chaotic world title defense, his first since beating Gunther at WrestleMania 41, Jey Uso evaded a catastrophe on Raw. After the show went off air, the 39-year-old was celebrating with the fans at ringside until a man sporting a black hoodie punched the Anoa’i descendant right in the jaw.

As seen in the following clip released by WWE, the man in-question was none other than Logan Paul. Last Monday, the two had quite an intense face-off on Raw. The segment didn’t end well for The Maverick as he ate a superkick from Uso.
The fans were convinced after that not-so-intriguing choice of a first opponent for Uso’s world title reign that they’ll collide at Backlash this Saturday. However, WWE has yet to confirm it.

In fact, the company might as well hold it off until Saturday Night’s Main Event, which falls on Memorial Day weekend. Paul is coming from a monumental WrestleMania victory against AJ Styles. It was initially believed that WWE was just feeding the YouTuber to a former world champion in Styles. However, taking down The Phenomenal One at the grandest stage screams that bigger things are in store for the IMPAULSIVE host.
Is Seth Rollins done chasing the world title after chaos on Raw?
In the opening segment of Raw, Jey Uso was interrupted by Paul Heyman. The Wiseman told the former Bloodline member that he knew how desperately Uso wanted to hold on to the big gold. But as much as the latter is hellbent on making his first world title reign as memorable as he can, Seth Rollins has to be the champion, added Heyman.

The WWE HOF’er bestowed a favor on Uso by letting him decide when and where he’d put that belt on the line against The Visionary. The Yeet Master was fired up and wanted to do it on the same night, which is how the match came about. But everyone saw how it panned out.
Having said that, Rollins might not be done with Uso. At the moment, The Revolutionary, flanked by Bron Breakker, must focus on CM Punk and Sami Zayn. Once that side of the business is dealt with, Rollins could always revert back to his quest of becoming the World Heavyweight Champion.
