The race was even more special for drivers as it came with a massive $1 million prize pool, making the star drivers push themselves to the limit to head to Victory Lane. After a hard-fought race, it was JGR’s Christopher Bell who emerged victorious.
Christopher Bell showers praise on JGR pitcrew after All-Star Race win
Christopher Bell had a good run at North Wilkesboro. The JGR star had to fight hard against defending champion Joey Logano for victory in the All-Star Race. In the final ten laps of the 250-lap race, the two drivers battled it out. But it was Bell who managed to pass Logano and maintain the lead till the end. As the two crossed the finish line, Christopher Bell defeated his arch-rival with a gap of just 0.829 seconds.

Following the race, Bell claimed that his pitcrew was certainly the best in the sport. He made it clear that his driving was just one part of the teamwork that leads to success in NASCAR. Afterall, a driver is nothing without a strong team backing him up on pitroad. This is something which Christopher Bell recognizes and as such credited his team for the victory.
Man, they’re the best. I mean, there’s there’s nothing else to say. And this sport can be so humbling, because behind the car, behind the wheel, you’re just a small part of success. And these boys right here, Adam Stevens, on the pit box, all the mechanics, all the engineers that put this thing together, they’re the big picture. I’m the guy that gets to sit up here and talk to you and take pictures. But without them, I’m nobody, and I owe it all to these guys.
Christopher Bell said post-race.

Moreover, the million dollar prize money further sweetens the deal for the JGR star. Ultimately, the All-Star Race was full of positives for NASCAR and fans alike.
