WWE Hall of Famer pushes for Logan Paul to win the 2025 Money in the Bank contract
In the wake of the upcoming Money in the Bank premium live event, Logan Paul has received the backing of Mark Henry to win the briefcase.

It’s that time of the year once again when the Money in the Bank briefcases will be hung up high for the superstars to climb the ladder and retrieve them. WWE has already commenced the qualifying matches for the PLE slated for June 7. There aren’t any odds-on favorites, as the lineups are yet to be finalized.
However, Mark Henry is leaning towards Logan Paul seizing the opportunity. During an appearance on the Busted Open Radio podcast, the WWE legend said he’d like to see The Maverick in the running to hold that contract. Henry explained that he prefered bad guys, or in wrestling jargon, the heels, in that position.
There’s so much leeway in such cases as to how dastardly the heels can act while forcing the reigning champions to stay on the ball. Henry’s co-host, Denise Salcedo, though unimpressed with the idea, said she could see it happening given Paul’s mainstream outreach. WWE might consider giving an opportunity to the former US Champion to carry that MITB contract around whenever he does any celebrity appearance.

The IMPAULSIVE host does have an experience of competing in an MITB ladder match. He did it in 2023 and even pulled off a gravity-defying Spanish Fly off the ring ropes to the outside, with Ricochet bearing the brunt of it. Even though Paul didn’t emerge victorious by the end of that match, he certainly put his body on the line.
Can Logan Paul upset Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event?
Before WWE moves on to its Money in the Bank PLE, the company has to get over with Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend. In the only world title match on the card, Logan Paul will challenge Jey Uso. The latter has already escaped the wrath of Seth Rollins in what was a barn burner of a match on Raw recently. Paul is up next for the ex-Bloodline member.

The Maverick will appear on Raw this week to deliver his final words for The Yeet Master before they meet in Tampa this Saturday. Paul has had Uso’s number of late with the number of sneak attacks he’s pulled off on the San Francisco native. But the situation would be entirely different when that bell rings at SNME.
Roman Reigns‘ former right-hand man has earned the reputation of being a gritty competitor ever since stunning Gunther at WrestleMania 41. Paul has indeed booked himself into a predicament. Uso also got involved in the Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker business last week. The 39-year-old came to the aid of CM Punk and Sami Zayn, and was ultimately successful in getting the job done.
Logan Paul reveals that the WWE Universe is upset with him
Earlier this month, WWE released a bunch of superstars from its roster. The notable names that were cut included Braun Strowman and Dakota Kai, among others. Logan Paul recently claimed during his IMPAULSIVE episode with Adin Ross that a bunch of WWE fans were upset that he didn’t make that list.

Gloating about himself, the 30-year-old YouTuber quipped that WWE couldn’t just let a future world champion go. At this point, The Maverick clearly knows that he’s not a beloved figure when it comes to hardcore pro wrestling audiences.

He’s still seen as an outsider coasting off the athleticism that he so naturally possesses. However, one of the all-time greats, Randy Orton, recently heaped tons of praise on Paul. The Viper told Billboard in an interview that the former US Champion puts in the work that most critics overlook while labeling him as an outsider.
