Lyra Valkyria made history at WrestleMania by becoming a double champion, winning both the Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Becky Lynch and the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. However, The Bird Lady has mixed feelings about the moment, as she believes it was tainted by Bayley’s injury just before the show.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Lyra Valkyria revealed that Bayley was sidelined with an injury at WrestleMania 41. The rising star admitted that she felt like part of a team with The Role Model and had hoped to make history alongside her. While she did get her WrestleMania moment, doing it at Bayley’s expense made it bittersweet and left her with little desire to celebrate after the show.

It came at the expense of Bayley, which is a bit sad because we clicked so well as a tag team. So, it was genuinely hard to have my Mania moment come at an expense.

Furthermore, she believed the moment was meant to happen, as there was no better way to mark Becky Lynch’s return. Still, Valkyria hoped to see Bayley back in action soon and was praying for The Role Model’s full recovery. The Bird Lady also mentioned that once Bayley is back, she plans to go after the Women’s Tag Team Titles with her once again.

The former Damage CTRL member was attacked by The Man on Night 1 of WrestleMania, forcing her out of action. She was later replaced by Lynch, who teamed up with Valkyria to capture the Women’s Tag Team Titles. However, Bayley’s story is far from over, and her return could be just around the corner. She was recently spotted training in the gym—a promising sign for fans eagerly awaiting her comeback.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion shared that it was a dream come true to wrestle Lynch for the first time. But getting the chance to engage in a full-time feud with The Man felt almost unbelievable.

It’s just crazy, she’s the one that broke all the glass ceilings, the one that did it all. But she didn’t just do it and succeed; she went and did things that no one ever thought possible. So I have a crazy level of respect for that. Because once someone does something, there’s all these studies about the 4-minute mile, the human capability, how much they can go, right?

She praised Big Time Becks for breaking the glass ceiling in women’s wrestling, and said it’s truly an honor to work with her. Moreover, Valkyria believes it is an opportunity of a life time to work and learn with a legend like Big Time Becks and she is savoring every moment of it.
