As if the fans weren’t already up in arms with Travis Scott‘s involvement in the ongoing John Cena farewell tour, WWE doesn’t seem likely to crack down on it. In fact, a new report from PWInsider has revealed that the Undisputed WWE Champion is likely to wrestle a six-man tag team match at Money in the Bank.

Slated for June 7, the PLE will emanate from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. At the moment, The Cenation Leader is being pitched to team up with Travis Scott and Logan Paul to take on the trio of Cody Rhodes and The Usos. However, as always, the plans are subject to change. Scott and Cena were heavily rumored to join forces for a match after the rapper helped the Peacemaker actor beat Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.

There was growing speculation within the wrestling circles that WWE could make Scott wrestle at a marquee event like SummerSlam, which is making its two-night debut in 2025. But it’s looking like the company wants to get it done as soon as possible. Also in contention to link up with Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect is Logan Paul. The latter is currently involved in a world title feud with Jey Uso.

They’ll meet this weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event after weeks of a cat-and-mouse chase. Also at SNME, Cena will take on R-Truth in a non-title match. It’d be interesting to see how the company makes The Maverick align with The Cenation Leader and La Flame for a one-off wrestling expedition at Money in the Bank.

John Cena on closing his WWE rivalry with Randy Orton

A couple of weeks ago, John Cena almost bit the bullet against Randy Orton at Backlash. Had it not been for R-Truth coming to the aid of his childhood hero in the business end of Cena vs. Orton, The Viper would’ve dethroned his iconic rival. Truth’s interference allowed Cena to stoop to a low blow that he struck Orton with and eventually decked his skull with the title belt. That was it.

The Babe Ruth of WWE escaped the wrath of The Apex Predator just by the skin of his teeth. The Ricky Stanicky actor recently told Entertainment Tonight that he’s taking every WWE match one at a time. He fondly reflected on writing the final chapter of his incredible 25-year-long rivalry with Orton. The WWE Universe thoroughly enjoyed the way these veterans came up with all the hits during the course of their showdown.

I had my last match with Randy Orton, and that was pretty cool to kind of put a close to that 25-year rivalry. So as every chapter happens, it’s a different feeling for everyone.

John Cena about his Randy Orton match

It was more of a nostalgia act than anything, but the Enterprise Center in St. Louis was on its feet the entire time. Cena, not once, did he stand tall in the lead-up to their matchup, but he got the job done when it mattered the most. Orton, on the other hand, is likely for a feud with SmackDown GM Nick Aldis in the near future.

John Cena discloses his only WWE merch he’s ever saved

Throughout most of his WWE career, John Cena has wrestled in jorts. However, he’s remained the company’s top merchandise seller for a long time, and it’s only growing in stature as the 48-year-old nears his in-ring retirement. The Cenation Leader has sported a multitude of tees as a wrestler, but there’s only one of them that he’s ever saved.

The Hollywood mogul made the revelation while speaking at a recent FAN EXPO in Philadelphia. Cena named the T-shirt he wore at SummerSlam 2021 the dopest ever, which was a Super Mario parody. WWE initially planned on selling 500 of those but ended up moving only 15. It was a Cena call.

He’d realized the exorbitant money the fans were supposed to pay to buy not only the tee but also a litany of additional items. Therefore, Cena asked WWE to not re-release the said T-shirts individually for others to buy, as it would have wronged those who’d emptied their pockets earlier.
