Seth Rollins is headed to Los Angeles to compete in the 2025 men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. This week on Raw, The Visionary pinned Finn Balor in a triple-threat qualifier that also included Sami Zayn. Rollins took full advantage of a miscue by Dominik Mysterio, who’d slid a steel chair into the ring to bail out his Judgment Day cohort.

However, the questionable throw by Mysterio, fairly out of The Prince’s grasp, cost the latter dearly. Rollins stomped Balor’s head onto that piece of metal, which was all The Architect needed to get the three count. It was another one of those instances where Dirty Dom inadvertently screwed things up for The Irish Captor. But Rollins wouldn’t complain at all.

He’s set for his first MITB ladder match appearance since 2022, where he came agonizingly close to winning the briefcase. The former Shield member has joined the likes of Penta, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight in this year’s iteration of the ladder match, with a couple more men to be added. Rollins has made it clear that he’s eyeing the world heavyweight title.

The Revolutionary battled Jey Uso for it a few weeks ago, but he couldn’t wrestle away the belt, thanks to Sami Zayn and CM Punk‘s interference. The Iowa native lost the world title at WrestleMania XL to Drew McIntyre. Since then, the Chicago Bears buff has been trying to revert back to that glory.

The timing couldn’t be any better for Rollins than now, with Paul Heyman serving as his special counsel, let alone Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed as his henchmen.

Even though Seth Rollins advanced to the Money in the Bank PLE on the back of emerging triumphant on Raw, he did have his backup in place. During the closing moments of that triple threat matchup against Sami Zayn and Finn Balor, Rollins’ aides, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, went right after Zayn.

However, it didn’t take long for Jey Uso to even the odds, but he eventually got wrecked by The Unpredictable Badass. After Rollins had done his part and qualified, CM Punk‘s music hit. The Drip God directed Breakker and Reed to make a beeline for Punk at the entrance stage. However, The Best in the World had a foolproof plan, as he snuck into the ring from behind.

Just when Rollins turned his back, Punk clocked him with a GTS. The ex-AEW star quickly retreated from the spot and celebrated with the fans in attendance. Punk was targeted by The Auszilla upon his surprise return at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

It’s worth noting that the 36-year-old buckled his knee inside WarGames while trying to crush the veteran with a tsunami from the top of the double-caged structure. Reed got his pound of flesh on Punk this past weekend.

Paul Heyman explained Bronson Reed’s alliance with Seth Rollins on Raw

This week’s Raw from Tampa kicked off with Seth Rollins and company heading to the ring. The onus was on Paul Heyman to set a premise for his client’s vision heading into the future. Heyman first lauded Bron Breakker and delivered a spoiler that he’d main event a number of WrestleMania(s) a few years from now.

The WWE Hall of Famer soon turned his attention to Bronson Reed and explained his addition to the Rollins-led group. The Wiseman noted that WWE would never present Reed with actual competition when he was more than ready to take the gauntlet to the top-tier names on the roster. Heyman argued that the WWE management was afraid of the fact that The Auszilla was too reckless.

Heyman went on to assert that’s when Reed took the initiative to break out on his own and ultimately went after Rollins last year. The Bloodline’s former manager quipped that Reed did more damage to Rollins in one night than Roman Reigns could do in 10 years and CM Punk in his entire career.
