Just about a week ago, R-Truth broke the wrestling timeline by announcing that he would be leaving WWE imminently as the company had decided against renewing his contract. But guess what? The wrestler, who goes by Ron Killings in real life, made his return to WWE this past weekend at Money in the Bank. To the amusement of some people, Logan Paul is upset about it.

Truth, disguised in an all-black hoodie, went right after John Cena and decked his skull with the Undisputed WWE title belt. The Peacemaker actor was done for by that point, and Cody Rhodes planted him with a Cross Rhodes to get the pinfall and victory for himself and Jey Uso. Reflecting on his and Cena’s loss, Paul took to Instagram. He asserted that the babyfaces won only because of Truth coming back.

…..and R-Truth got unfired for whatever reason and he came back to cost me and John Cena, the better team, the match and that’s what I have to say about that……

While the IMPAULSIVE host did admit that he and Cena ran into a disagreement during the match, there wasn’t much to look into. For the latter, the two of them were the better team and not Rhodes & Uso, whom The Maverick called cheaters who couldn’t do anything in this business without stuff being handed to them. Paul also reflected on Ron Killings’ shocking appearance, saying he got unfired for some reason.

The former US Champion claimed that everyone in the locker room wanted Truth back except for him. As per Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net, the return clip of Truth has garnered over 26.2 million views across WWE’s digital platforms in a one-day count. Also, the reaction that he got upon unmasking himself at the Intuit Dome was downright rapturous.

Who did the heavy lifting to convince R-Truth for a WWE return?

There was a great deal of anguish among the fans, let alone the entire WWE roster, when R-Truth‘s departure news saw the light of day. A ton of superstars showed their love and support for WWE’s resident rapping superstar. It was merely an indicator of his company-wide appeal. Per Fightful’s reporting, a top talent outlined the current regime’s ruthlessness over Truth’s ouster.

The same outlet has now reported that the record-setting 24/7 Champion ignored many of WWE’s approaches in recent days until the company president & CEO, Nick Khan, stepped in and negotiated a new deal with the 53-year-old vet. It seems as if the top brass couldn’t deny the unprecedented outcry over Truth being axed after having a 17-year tenure with WWE.

Even Cody Rhodes mentioned the same thing during the Money in the Bank post-show presser that The Suntan Superman’s return was made possible only by the fans. By the looks of it, Truth would renew his rivalry with John Cena that was considered moribund. Because at Saturday Night’s Main Event, the self-professed Last Real Champion dispatched the former Judgment Day member by going low on him.

Triple H under fire for calling R-Truth’s situation all part of the show

WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque has morphed himself into a polarizing figure of late with the kind of statements he’s putting out. Take, for instance, at the MITB post-show presser, he was asked whether R-Truth was actually fired from WWE or if all of it was merely a work, which, in wrestling jargon, means a scripted thing.

The Game smirked at the question and said, “It’s all part of the show.” The fans knew that Levesque was being disingenuous with his response. The belief was further bolstered by Truth’s son, Christopher Killings, alluding to the fact that Levesque was lying. Truth himself confirmed that the entire situation wasn’t a work.

As per Fightful, a talent that the outlet spoke to mentioned that The Cerebral Assassin is aware that lying to the locker room about the recent turn of events concerning R-Truth is “horrible taste.” Moreover, those in the company stated the exact opposite of Hunter’s stance on Truth that he put forth during the MITB presser.
