Ricky Stenhouse Jr. seems to be having a rough time in NASCAR. The Hyak Motorsports driver has been engaged in a feud with Spire Motorsports’ Carson Hocevar for a couple of weeks now, with tensions escalating in Mexico. Now, HMS star Kyle Larson has taken a hilarious jibe at Stenhouse Jr. as the two met baseball icon Dave Roberts.
Stenhouse Jr. has been unhappy with Carson Hocevar since the Nashville race when the latter triggered a massive wreck. With the Hyak Motorsports driver even threatening his rival over a potential confrontation.
Just two weeks later, things got worse in Mexico City. Carson Hocevar caused Stenhouse Jr. to spin out in the final stages of the race, ruining the race of the NASCAR veteran. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. did not mince his words after the race, with even threats of violence towards the Spire Motorsports driver.
After the chaotic weekend, the Hyak Motorsports driver took some much-needed time off from the garage. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Larson got the chance to meet Los Angeles Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts.
Larson posted an image on Instagram, joking that Stenhouse met with Roberts to discuss anger management. However, only time will tell whether Stenhouse Jr. learned some tips from the baseball icon over his outbursts in the sport.

Carson Hocevar admits ‘sloppy’ mistake behind Ricky Stenhouse Jr. incident
While things have only become worse between Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Carson Hocevar, the Spire Motorsports has nothing but himself to blame. The Spire Motorsports driver was a lap down on Stenhouse and thus should not have made any unnecessary moves. However, Hocevar’s aggression caused a rather unwarranted incident, with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. being understandably frustrated.

After the race, Hocevar claimed that he slid on tire marbles on the left side of the track, which led to the incident. The 22-year-old admitted that Stenhouse was probably the last person he would want to hit during a race again.
Additionally, Carson Hocevar pointed out that he was just trying to make it till the end as he was a lap down while keeping the door open for any opportunity. The Spire Motorsports driver confessed that he was quite sloppy during the time of the incident and took the blame for spinning his arch-rival.
I just got left and in the marbles and slid a lot longer than I expected,So yeah, I mean, obviously number one, not somebody I would never want to hit again. But number two, just yeah, I wasn’t racing anything…But yeah, I just hit a curb wrong and got in the marbles and slid all the way through the corner. So I tried to turn left and avoid him, but just really, really sloppy day by me, and then that was another incident of the day that was rally just sloppy.

Certainly, Carson Hocevar would not be willing to have a chat with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. any time soon. Right when it seemed that the Hyak Motorsports driver would move on from their beef, Hocevar added fuel to the fire. The 22-year-old would now hope to not have to be anywhere near Stenhouse be it on or off the track.
