Karrion Kross Debunks Report of WWE Limiting His Push Due to His Reluctance of Taking in-Ring bumps
Karrion Kross has laughed off a recent report claiming that WWE wouldn't push him up the card as he doesn't take too many bumps.

Amid Karrion Kross‘ ongoing resurgence among the fans, a theory started making rounds on the internet over why he’d never break out as a major player on the main roster. Wade Keller of PW Torch is the one who first broached it during his WWE Raw post-show, claiming some wrestlers have told him that Kross doesn’t actually bump that heavily in his matches.
Based on that assumption, Keller noted that could be a potential reason for WWE not pushing The Doomsday to the moon. Kross was asked about the aforementioned tidbit by The National News. The 39-year-old said it was the weakest of all stories that were fabricated about him all week long.
I thought out of all the crazy articles that are fabricated about me every week, that was the weakest………..

The New York-born wrestler mentioned another bizarre rumor about him cutting a shoot promo on Raw and quitting the company afterwards. Kross said he couldn’t do anything but laugh since there’s a bunch of them floating in the market. That being said, the former NXT Champion is in Riyadh for his first PLE match since WrestleMania 40. The Harbinger of Doom will take on Sami Zayn.

The latter’s been dealing with the devil on his shoulder that is Kross for months now. The Doomsday revealed during the Night of Champions kickoff show that he hasn’t left Zayn alone so that he could expose him for the liar he is. It’d be interesting to see if the home-like crowd advantage will pull Zayn over the line on Saturday or if it will be Kross demolishing a conflicted warrior in Zayn.
Karrion Kross embraces the support from the Saudi Arabian crowd
Karrion Kross might act like he’s the devil on screen, but the former Impact Wrestling star is extremely appreciative to everyone who has stood up for him in recent months. The husband of Scarlett Bordeaux received loud cheers against Sami Zayn at the Night of Champions kickoff show.

Taking note of it, the erstwhile leader of The Final Testament posted on X that the WWE Universe is continuing to get behind him. He also thanked the fans for voicing their displeasure with his booking in WWE that eventually landed him in a spot where he’ll now wrestle in Riyadh.
Nice to see you again.

It could be a make-or-break performance for Kross to determine what the future would look like for him. He does have a strong advocate in WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who presented The Doomsday as an absolute menace during his days in NXT.
Regarding the online discussion of Karrion Kross not bumping that picked up steam, in speaking to multiple people who produced matches of his, they claimed that has never been an issue they've encountered.

Moreover, Kross and Scarlett were the first pair of talents who were brought back to WWE after Levesque replaced Vince McMahon as the lead booker of main roster creative. Speaking of the aforementioned report claiming Kross wouldn’t make it big as he doesn’t bump enough, a report from Fightful added that those who’ve closely worked with Kross have never encountered it as an issue.
Is Karrion Kross’ WWE deal running out of time?
Fightful noted in early June that Karrion Kross had several months left on his current WWE deal. Moreover, as of back then, the 39-year-old hadn’t been approached by the company for a contract renewal. It sparked speculation among wrestling circles on social media that he’d be the next star to end up on the chopping block.

There’s no indication that Kross would leave WWE or that the company isn’t interested in retaining him. Furthermore, the recent groundswell in Kross’ popularity and standing among the fans might be exactly what WWE would’ve been wanting to see.
Karrion Kross has a few months left on his current contract with WWE and the company has not yet approached Kross about a renewal.

The recent case of R-Truth, aka Ron Killings‘ firing, has set a precedent for how hostile a wrestling fanbase can get if WWE gets rid of their beloved wrestlers. That being said, The Harbinger of Doom also has a major backing from the WWE Universe, and they don’t seem likely to sit back in case Kross is ousted after some time.
