Japan and South Korea will clash against each other in the 3rd round of women’s handball Group A at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. The national teams previously faced off against each other at the Asian Championships final in 2018. The victory had went to the South Koreans then.

South Korea is sailing in a similar boat as they too failed to score points in their first match against Norway. They were defeated 27:39. This was their fourth loss in a row. The team lost their next match against Netherlands, 36:43 as well. South Koreans must surely be desperate to register a win and mount a fierce fightback.
