“Every Single One of Y’all Is Wrong!” Bubba Wallace Reveals the Real Reason Behind Christopher Bell Clash at Glen

One of the biggest talking points from last Sunday’s race at Watkins Glen was the confrontation involving Bubba Wallace and Christopher Bell.  The duo was caught having an animated conversation post-race for barely a minuet and it was enough for media to discuss, as well as some haters to attack 23XI Racing driver on social media.

Everyone involved in the discussion read the situation wrong, as ahead of the Dover Motor Speedway All-Star race the No:23 Toyota driver revealed the real reason for the altercation. He revealed that getting spun out by John Hunter Namecheck when he was having a good day made him furious and in retaliation, he raced everyone around him hard.

Every single one of y’all **** is wrong. So, I got wiped out by the 42. I don’t know if TV caught that. We were in potential for a top-10 day, top-12 day. I got wiped out there following the 45…I joke with you guys, I s**k and I don’t give a damn about road courses. I really do, right? It’s competitive nature. And I push hard every time we get into the car… I’m wiped out. When that happens, you see freaking red, man, and you don’t care who’s out there

Road Course racing has always been Bubba Wallace’s major weakness, and he has worked hard behind the scenes to get better. But when all those efforts became worthless because of mistake from his rivals, he lost his cool. Christopher Bell didn’t appreciate this and the No:20 Toyota driver started the confrontation, calling the 23XI driver out.

You don’t care if your wife and kids are up on the racetrack. You’re going to raise the dogs**t because you just had everything ripped away from you. The 35 was in that mix. I raced the s**t out of him. The 20 was in that mix. I raised the shit out of him. Whoever else was in that pack, I didn’t care…So, what you see. They’re on pit road and its C Bell is pissed, and I raced them hard. That was me simply saying I don’t give a damn. I just had my race ruined…

The veteran driver then revealed how he then talked to both Bell and his crew chief about the fact he was just racing aggressively and didn’t mean any disrespect. He later had a conversation with the Toyota teammate on phone where the settled the matter after Bell realized the incident was the product of Wallace getting spun not him being frustrated over car being slow.

I told them there’s nothing disrespectful to you. I told Adam, ‘If I disrespected you, my day was ruined and you guys were just caught in the crossfire.’…Then I called him after and we’re all good…His scenario was, he didn’t know. When I called him, he said, “I had no idea you just got wiped out.” He thought I was bleeding on old tires.

The comments from the veteran driver shows how he is a really emotional driver and how majority of the community mis-read the confrontation from the chaotic Watkins Glen weekend. It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the duo the in the coming races, starting with the Watkins Glen race.
