Taylor Swift has to go through quite the emotions about which sports team to cheer for. She hails from Philadelphia and is now about to marry Travis Kelce, who hails from Cleveland, home of the Cavaliers.

The football fandom will not come into play here. That is, Swift and the Kelce family cannot be seen supporting the Browns or even the Bengals simply because the tight end plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, and older brother Jason Kelce‘s loyalty to the Philadelphia Eagles.

In fact, they have even more cross-family issues when counting the latter’s wife. Kylie Kelce is a die-hard Philly sports fan and has made it clear she will not support any other team, even if any family member is a part of it. That rules her out of any fandom involving the Cavaliers, as she would rather support the 76ers and their upcoming WNBA franchise if she wants to cheer for the city’s basketball teams.

But she cannot stop her husband and her brother-in-law from supporting the team from their home state. They have done it in the past, and they will do it again in the future.

This time, Travis Kelce brought his fiancee to Game 3 between his Cavs and the New York Knicks. Early pictures and videos show the three-time Super Bowl winner enjoying his time during the game.

But now, another picture came across the internet, which shows how he truly felt about his Cavaliers as they were getting nowhere in their quest to win.

The picture shows him with his hand on his eyes, trying to avoid watching the impending loss, and Taylor Swift looking at him with a sly smile on her face. After all, she has cheered on the Knicks in the past.

Taylor Swift may know quite a bit about football and its players after being ‘coached’ by Travis Kelce and even WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark. But when it comes to basketball, it seems her knowledge about the players is limited.

If that leads to identifying arguably the most popular basketball player in Cleveland, apart from James Harden, then that’s the way Swift would do it.

This means she could also possibly identify Jayson Tatum through his relationship with Ella Mai and Brandon Ingram through his relationship with GloRilla.

The fact that this was Swift’s first basketball game was the biggest headline in the city of Cleveland. Only Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson‘s analytics-based explanation trumped it a day later.

But for Swift to appear courtside and cheer for their hometown team must have meant a lot. There are rumors of a return to the Cavs if a deal with the Lakers does not work out. If that happens, another appearance from the most renowned couple in sports would not be a far-fetched dream.
