Logan Paul tore his triceps this past weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event. ‘The Maverick’, alongside his Vision stablemate Austin Theory, was up against The Street Profits in a world tag team title match. Paul suffered the injury in the closing moments when Angelo Dawkins dived onto him to the outside.

It was confirmed on Raw this week that the social media megastar did indeed catch the injury bug and will therefore be sidelined indefinitely. The Westlake-born internet sensation took to social media and revealed that he’s on the road to recovery after having undergone surgery.

Paul said he stayed awake for the surgical procedure as he wanted to feel everything. He also bragged about still being a tag team champion in WWE, which isn’t technically outlandish, as the tag team titles didn’t change hands at SNME.

Moreover, as seen on Raw, Theory, with whom Paul won the tag team gold, will continue as one half of the tag champs alongside Bron Breakker. Circling back to Logan Paul’s aforementioned post, he said the doctors have informed him that he’s in for a 6-month recovery. However, he doesn’t believe them and is pushing to return in the next couple of weeks with the help of his PRIME shake containing 32g protein.

But even he knows that the surgery scar that he displayed wouldn’t allow him back in no time. The fans could expect the former boxer to plot his WWE return by the end of this year. With Logan Paul now on the shelf, it has given more credence to the running joke on the internet that the Vision is quite possibly the most cursed faction in wrestling history.

Last year, it was Seth Rollins, the one who build this group from scratch, who suffered a dislocated shoulder and had to be written off in an angle that saw his stablemates turn on him. Earlier this year, Bron Breakker picked up a hiatal hernia, followed by Bronson Reed tearing his biceps three weeks after Breakker on Raw. ‘The Auszilla’ is still recovering from it and could be expected to return around the same time as Logan Paul.

Logan Paul had several back-and-forths with Tom Brady a few months ago. The host of IMPAULSIVE took offense to Brady mocking his athleticism and calling WWE cute in an appearance on Paul’s podcast. ‘Tom Terrific’ was cynical of the wrestler’s in-ring prowess doing him any good on a football field. ‘The Maverick’ retorted by posing his job in WWE as the hardest thing to pull off.

He later sided with his WWE colleagues by affirming that any of those would do fine if asked to play for an NFL side. But the reverse wouldn’t be true. Logan Paul told Sports Illustrated that 99% of the NFL players would drop the ball if asked to wrestle a match for WWE. In the same conversation, the 31-year-old dug up Brady’s infamous 2000 NFL Combine performance.

At one point, Paul Heyman had advocated for the two to settle their differences at WrestleMania 42. WWE was even in negotiations with the legendary quarterback about possibly appearing at Mania, which was once again held at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders, which are partly owned by Brady.

However, the talks never materialized for the 7-time Super Bowl Champion to appear at WWE’s biggest show of the year. The fans were expecting something between Brady and Paul inside the squared circle with the way these two were taking shots at each other. While it went nowhere, it made Nikki Bella appreciate Logan Paul for the efforts he puts in getting that mainstream pull for WWE.

‘The Fearless One’ recently joined USA Sports Today and appreciated ‘The Maverick’. She, however, imposed NFL superiority, citing how Saquon Barkley was almost yawning in practice when Logan Paul was running around him. Paul getting juked by Barkley also made rounds on social media, with netizens trolling the WWE Superstar for bragging about his athleticism just a few days before that.
