Both the Knicks and Spurs came into the NBA Finals with a lot of confidence. The Knicks clean swept their opponents in the previous two rounds, while the Spurs knocked out the defending champions, Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

Game 1 of the NBA Finals lived up to the expectations as the Knicks made a second half comeback to win 105-95 at the Frost Bank Center. Jalen Brunson was the star of the show as he came alive in the fourth quarter and turned the game around.

Game 3 is expected to have several celebrities and major figures at the MSG. The likes of Timothee Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller and many more will be seen court side on Monday night.

Trump revealed that he will be attending Game 3 and maybe even Game 4 on Wednesday night.

I’ve been a Knick fan for a long time and I’m also a Jim Dolan fan. He’s a nice guy, Okay? He’s spent a long time wanting to win and he’s a competitive guy and he’s got a team that’s amazing. I don’t think they’ve lost a playoff game. Can you imagine that?

He has attended several high-profile sporting events, including the 2025 Super Bowl, the 2025 U.S. Open tennis tournament and the 2026 College Football Playoff championship game. It will be interesting to see how the home crowd receives Trump on Monday.

Donald Trump talks about Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama posted a double double in Game 1. Despite leading the Spurs with 26 points and 12 rebounds, he took accountability for the loss. He was a wall in defense, but struggled to make his shots against a solid Knicks defense. Donald Trump had a few words to say about the French star’s efforts.

Wemby’s a great player. How do you guard this guy? He’s 7-foot-5 and he’s got a great shot. But (the Knicks) find a way to do it. They’re a great team, and I’m happy for Jim.
