It was a game of two halves for the Knicks. After finding themselves down by 27 points at halftime, they came roaring back in the second half. In the end, they pulled off a monumental comeback and came out with a 107-106 victory against the San Antonio Spurs at the Madison Square Garden.
When the Spurs were up by one with just under six seconds left in the fourth quarter, Brunson’s three-point jumper bounced off the rim before Anunoby tipped a rebound into the basket. The offensive rebound gave the Knicks a historic win on Wednesday night.

It was a win for the ages as the New York Knicks pulled off the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history. There were some questions surrounding Jalen Brunson heading into Game 4 as he struggled with his efficiency against a resolute Spurs defense.

OG Anunoby on hitting the game-winning shot at the Garden in the Finals
The Spurs started the game red hot but just went cold in the fourth quarter of Game 4. Meanwhile, OG Anunoby and Jalen Brunson pulled the Knicks out of the dirt. Anunoby scored 33 points and shot at 67% from the field and made seven out of his nine three-pointer attempts.

Anunoby has been an underrated performer during the NBA Finals. He is averaging 23.8 points, four rebounds and 1.5 blocks in the four games played so far. If he helps the Knicks seal the series, he will be a strong contender to win the Finals MVP.
