David Beckham and Victoria Beckham publicly acknowledged their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, during their Father’s Day celebrations, sharing family photos and messages that included him despite the family’s ongoing estrangement.

On Sunday, June 21, Victoria Beckham posted a Father’s Day tribute to her husband on Instagram, praising the former soccer star for his role as a father to their four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

“David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day 💕💕💕💕💕💕,” Victoria wrote.

The post featured several family photographs, including a vacation snapshot of David spending time with all four of their children.

The former Manchester United star also marked the occasion on social media by sharing a collection of throwback family images. Among them was a black-and-white photograph of his children when they were younger and a separate photo showing him with Brooklyn during his childhood.

“Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham For giving me our beautiful family 🩷 Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads around the world 🩷,” David wrote.

Neither David nor Victoria directly referenced the family dispute in their posts. However, both included Brooklyn in their Father’s Day tributes as they reflected on family memories. As of publication, Brooklyn had not shared a public Father’s Day message for his father.

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham Remain at Odds With the Beckham Family

The Father’s Day posts come amid an ongoing rift between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents. Earlier this year, reports emerged that Brooklyn did not wish to reconcile with his family. The aspiring chef also accused his parents of interfering in his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham.

According to previous reports, Brooklyn alleged that Victoria Beckham “hijacked” his and Nicola’s first dance at their 2022 wedding and “cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour.”

He reportedly instructed his parents to communicate with him through his lawyer. Meanwhile, Nicola used Father’s Day to celebrate her own father, businessman Nelson Peltz.

“happy father’s day dad! i’m so lucky i get to be your daughter, you’re the best dad in the entire world 💖 thank you for being the most loving and supportive father i could ever dream of,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I love you to the moon and back a trillion times over. thank you for always believing in me and always encouraging me to chase my biggest dreams. you’ve taught me to be so tough and to never give up. (just like you 🥰) i love you so so so so much! i hope today is so perfect for you,” Nicola added.

The family tensions were highlighted again earlier this month when Brooklyn’s sister, Harper Beckham, attempted to visit him at his Los Angeles home. The visit was unsuccessful because Brooklyn was reportedly in New York City at the time.

Representatives for Brooklyn and Nicola later claimed that Harper’s visit had been “choreographed for the cameras.”

Despite the ongoing estrangement, David and Victoria’s latest social media posts publicly included Brooklyn as they celebrated Father’s Day and reflected on their family life.
