Years after sharing the ring with Floyd Mayweather in one of boxing’s most talked-about exhibition events, Logan Paul revived his claim that the undefeated 50-0 legend still owed him money connected to the bout.
The WWE star discussed the issue during an appearance on The Iced Coffee Hour podcast, where he alleged that Mayweather never paid him his full share of a business agreement tied to their 2021 exhibition.
According to Paul, Mayweather secured a $10 million deal with a company in the Middle East before the fight took place. Paul claimed the agreement involved the use of both fighters’ names and likenesses and entitled him to a percentage of the payment.
“He still owes me a million and a half, maybe more,” Paul said. The YouTuber and WWE star explained that the exhibition was ultimately promoted through a different arrangement in the United States. However, he maintained that the original deal had already been completed and funded.
“He pre-sold the fight using my likeness to some company. I think in Dubai for $10 million cash,” Paul said. “Our deal was 15 percent, he smoked me.”
Paul said his portion of the alleged agreement amounted to approximately $1.5 million. He also claimed the company involved later pursued legal action against Mayweather, though he did not provide further details during the interview.

The exhibition took place on June 6, 2021, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The eight-round contest went the distance under exhibition rules and drew major pay-per-view interest worldwide. Mayweather has not publicly responded to Paul’s latest comments. No court has confirmed the allegations, and Paul has not announced any successful legal action related to the disputed payment.
Floyd Mayweather’s felony fraud case brought renewed attention to past payment disputes
Logan Paul’s comments resurfaced as Floyd Mayweather faced criminal allegations in Nevada over an unrelated business transaction.
In June 2026, prosecutors in Clark County charged the former boxing champion with two felonies connected to the purchase of a luxury watch from Las Vegas retailer Gold and Beyond.

According to court records, Mayweather is accused of writing a $200,000 check from a Wells Fargo account on December 31, 2024, despite allegedly lacking sufficient funds to cover the payment. Prosecutors charged him with theft involving property valued at more than $100,000 and passing a check with intent to defraud.
Attorney Marc Cook, who represents the retailer, told ESPN that his client spent months attempting to resolve the matter privately before referring it to prosecutors.
Mayweather’s attorney, Adrian Lobo, denied the allegations and said her client “had absolutely no intent to defraud.” Lobo argued that the dispute should have been handled in civil court rather than through criminal proceedings.
The case marked the first criminal matter among a series of legal disputes involving Mayweather in recent years. Court proceedings remained ongoing, with a hearing scheduled for September 2026.
