England’s 2-1 win over Norway in the quarterfinals game is making the rounds on the internet for all the wrong reasons. Thomas Tuchel and Jude Bellingham appear to have different opinions about the game.
Bellingham scored both of the Three Lions’ goals, continuing his rich form from Mexico, where he had a brace. Sure, England won the game, but the Norwegians pushed the English to their limit in the Miami heat. Bellingham rightfully praised Norway for their effort.
It’s difficult out there [at Hardrock Stadium in Miami], it’s a tough shift. All the players have put in a tough shift. My thoughts and appreciation goes to the players out there who put in a great shift.

"Maybe he doesn't know what it's like to play in those conditions."😳

Tuchel, on the other hand earlier argued that his team didn’t perform to the level he expects from them.
We made life very, very difficult for ourselves today. The result is fantastic. We are in the last four. It’s amazing but not happy with the performance—in every sense.

Thomas Tuchel was not happy with England's performance after the win.

When the reporter told Bellingham about Tuchel’s statement, the 23-year-old responded by calling out the veteran coach.
Maybe he doesn’t know what it’s like to play against Erling Haaland, [Martin] Ødegaard, [Antonio] Nusa, and Sørloth under those conditions. That’s not an easy team to face. You don’t win every game by keeping the ball moving and playing a thousand passes. Sometimes you have to win dirty – and that’s what we managed to do again tonight.

Erling Haaland showers praise on Jude Bellingham
Andreas Schjelderup gave Norway the lead in the 36th minute. Bellingham equalized right before half-time.

The game remained deadlocked, with Norway hitting the crossbar on a couple of occasions. Unfortunately, their resilience finally broke in added time when Bellingham scored his second (93rd minute).
After the final whistle, cameras caught Norway forward Erling Haaland embracing Bellingham before congratulating others. Haaland is familiar with most of the English players because he plays club football for Manchester City FC in England.
The big striker only had good things to say about his former Borussia Dortmund teammate.
I think he is unbelievable. Jude is a good friend…We had two good years in Dortmund so, we keep in touch and everything and he’s such a good guy, I have said it so many times—we have had so much fun together. And I am not surprised that he scores [scored] two goals today and performs the way he does.

Haaland also addressed Bellingham’s critics who always nag Real Madrid for not scoring enough international goals.
He don’t really deserve it. I think he’s one of the best in the world, and he’s a midfielder, he still scores goals, he still managed to dribble every single player on the field.
Bellingham went level with Harry Kane in the current World Cup—both have scored 6 goals. Then again, Kane remains England’s all-time leading goal scorer in the WCs with 14. However, Bellingham still has a couple more WC appearances, considering his age, left in him to catch up to his skipper.
