What a moment in Miami. I’m so proud of the team tonight reaching the semi-final of the World Cup, and to celebrate with my family was so special. Thank you, England, for giving our country these moments.

They won a lot of hearts. Huge respect to Erling & Norway for a great World Cup.

Jude Bellingham’s brace sends England past Norway in the FIFA World Cup

England booked its place in the semifinals after Jude Bellingham scored twice in a 2-1 extra-time victory over Norway.

Norway took the lead in the 36th minute when Andreas Schjelderup struck a left-footed shot that went in off the far post. England responded in first-half stoppage time as Bellingham drove into the penalty area and finished past goalkeeper Orjan Nyland to level the score.

After both teams created chances in the second half, England found the winner early in extra time. Substitute Morgan Rogers forced a save from Nyland, and Bellingham reacted quickest to score the rebound for his second goal of the match.

The two-goal performance moved Bellingham level with Harry Kane on six goals in the tournament. Norway later substituted Erling Haaland during extra time, ending his streak of 14 consecutive competitive international appearances with a goal.

England’s victory secured only the nation’s fourth FIFA World Cup semifinal appearance and set up a meeting with defending world champions Argentina for a place in the final on July 19th.
