LeBron James is expected to make a decision about his future in the next few days. Teams, the league, and fans have been eagerly waiting to see where the 41-year-old decides to play next.
He currently has five teams to choose from, which means he has a lot to go through in terms of analyzing his fit with the respective rosters and also taking into account the city, the fanbase, and everything else associated with the respective team.
Had this been a younger version of LeBron James, he could have made the decision by now. All he had to do was figure out what he wants at the end of the day, which is how he landed in Los Angeles.
Now, business may not be the priority, as he might have, at most, a couple of years or three left in his body. Keeping that in mind, he wants to join the team that could give him the best chance at winning a title or two. However, there is one more aspect that is keeping James from diving into a decision without thinking.
When I went to Miami, I had my reasons… When I went back to Cleveland, I had my reasons… When I went to the Lakers, I had my reasons… But it’s my almost 12-year-old daughter who is pulling a lot of weight a lot.

During this sit-down with Boardroom, the four-time champion made it clear that, unlike previous times, he has to take into account what his daughter, Zhuri James, wants. If James is going to make a decision about where he wants to play next, he needs his daughter’s input.
LeBron James will not likely take his family along
LeBron James made sure to break the news about his Lakers departure to his daughter before she came to know through other means. During that conversation, he revealed something that might indicate what he is going to do next.

I won’t be home all the time.
LeBron James recalled
This means that he was preparing Zhuri to accept the fact that over the next few years, she might not see her father much. The youngest James family member is enrolled at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, where her brothers also studied.
The 11-year-old also has her budding volleyball career, which means that it will be a lot to ask her to move to another part of the country. That is why her father mentioned that she might only be seeing him when he is in Los Angeles, or during the offseason.
That is the clearest indication that LeBron James will not move his family wherever he is going. Of course, going back to Cleveland will allow him to spend a lot of time with his relatives. But it seems shifting base is not on his mind.
Stephen A. Smith flames LeBron James over ‘indecision’
While the world waits for LeBron James to unveil where he is going to play next, it seems the likes of Stephen A. Smith are losing their minds over the prolonged wait.
LeBron James should start a new sitcom. It should be called ‘The Indecision’ because he can’t make up his damn mind… I believe that he knows exactly where he is going. He just wanted to wait until the World Cup was over before he tells everybody.
Stephen A. Smith said
The ESPN analyst left his First Take colleagues chuckling at the suggestion of that sitcom. He believes that the King knows all too well where he is going. It is just that he was waiting until the FIFA World Cup was over to reveal it.
Stephen A Smith says LeBron should start a new sitcom called the Indecision:

Smith believes the timing of it all indicates that the four-time league MVP again wants to make this into a drama, the same way he did with his 2010 special named ‘The Decision.’
