LeBron James is currently busy with the launch of his golf channel. It may be the last bit of activity he has before he has to return home and spend time with his family ahead of his temporary relocation to the Eastern side of the country.

The superstar took the bold decision to leave the Los Angeles Lakers when it was the most comfortable situation for him. Instead, he felt it was better that he leave the franchise, who were clearly moving in a different direction.

He preferred to take the risk of leaving his family, friends, and business associates in Los Angeles for a completely new environment that could throw up all sorts of problems.

For starters, there is James’ health. He may be one of the most conditioned players in the league. But at nearly 42 years old, there are risks. That is before one talks about Joel Embiid‘s persistent health problem.

Then there is the chemistry part, and how head coach Nick Nurse can get them to play off each other. However, one player who has spent considerable time with James in the past believes the 76ers will be a problem next season.

Adding a guy like LeBron to a team that did really well last year without a guy like Joel. And then you add a healthy Joel. I think that is debatable… LeBron is the greatest of all time…. Joel is ex-MVP, Jaylen Brown, Finals MVP, Maxey is coming off of the year he had, Edgecombe. The sky is the limit.

D’Angelo Russell said on The Backyard Podcast

The former Lakers star firmly believes that if the team stays healthy, this star-laden team could be very difficult to beat. They were already good last year. Now these additions are going to make them lethal.

Celtics superfan showers LeBron James with praise

LeBron James has enough naysayers in this world who would dismiss D’Angelo Russell‘s opinion as biased. But longtime Boston Celtics superfan and journalist Bill Simmons has some flowers he wanted to give to the King.

Only 3 guys are in the 20k-7k-7k Club for career points/rebounds/assists: LeBron, Oscar, and Russ.
If you drop it to 20k-6k-6k, it’s those 3 plus CP3, Harden, Havlicek, Drexler, and Kobe.
But….
LeBron is at 43k-12k-12k.
So technically, he’s in the 20k-6k-6k Club twice.

Bill Simmons wrote on X

Simmons has always held a neutral opinion on the four-time champion, even going so far as to find his faults when James tormented his Celtics in the mid-2010s. However, this was him showering the superstar with the praise he deserves.

The Ringer founder wanted to highlight how recently retired Russell Westbrook fares on the NBA records page. But while doing so, he could not avoid talking about the new Philadelphia 76ers forward, especially with those statistics.

LeBron James and ex-teammate Austin Reaves enjoy time together on his golf channel

LeBron James is obsessed with golf. Nowadays, every opportunity he gets, he finds a way to reach a golf course and get some shots in. That obsession has now led to a new YouTube channel that he claims will be focused on his newfound hobby.

In just a few days, the channel has garnered nearly 500K subscribers. That may not surprise anyone, especially after how soccer great Cristiano Ronaldo stunned the world with his channel a while back.

However, after his first video, which featured golf escapades with his 2016 NBA championship-winning Cleveland Cavaliers teammates as part of their reunion, amassed more than a million views in less than a day, the father of three has received the motivation to keep going.

Snippets of his next video started trickling onto social media, where it shows James and former teammate Austin Reaves sitting at a table with other friends and joking around about their game. This indicates that there is a strong possibility the four-time league MVP will upload a lot of content on his golf channel.
