Trinity Rodman has grabbed headlines for navigating her way through high-stakes athletic schedules. She is a professional soccer player who plays as a forward for the Washington Spirit of the NWSL and is also the daughter of five-time NBA champion, Dennis Rodman.

She is one of the most accomplished footballers in the US. She was the youngest player to be drafted in NWSL history in 2021. She is currently the highest paid women’s soccer player and is even an Olympics gold medalist.

Over the last few weeks, Trinity has constantly moved between her commitments with Spirit and the US Open to show support for her boyfriend, Ben Shelton. On Sunday, she pulled off a near-impossible cross-city sprint and was seen in the stands for his first US Open Final.

After the game, Alexander Zverev spotted Trinity in the stands during the trophy presentation and poked fun at her chaotic travel day.

Trinity, I thought you had a game today, no? Well done to you as well. You’re the lucky charm. Not today, but usually.

Ben Shelton and Rodman have been dating for nearly two years now. She often travels with him and is regularly seen court side during his games in different parts of the world.

After suffering a 3-0 loss to Boston Legacy, she quickly flew to New York for the US Open final on Sunday. She was not seen for most of the game and was seen in the stands towards the end.

Unfortunately, she could not be Shelton’s lucky charm as Alexander Zverev won his second Grand Slam title with a 6-3, 7-6, 5-7, 6-2 victory. The German was left impressed by her commitment and she took it like a sport.

Trinity Rodman does not share a good relationship with Dennis Rodman

Trinity Rodman is one of the top women footballers in the world today. However, she has often been in the spotlight for being the daughter of Dennis Rodman.

But the two do not share a father-daughter bond with each other. They have an estranged and distant relationship as the Dennis was rarely around during his childhood. The two were not even on talking terms for many years.

Despite their poor relationship, she is often connected to him by the media and fans, which usually does not sit well with her.

Last year at Wimbledon, she was linked to Dennis when she was seen court side during Shelton’s match. The Spirit forward criticized the BBC commentator and revealed that she does not want Dennis to be mentioned in her life.

Apparently, Dennis Rodman was never there for his family and she even revealed that she has no intention in being associated with him in any way as she does not him as a parent.

Dennis Rodman was one of the most dominant defenders in the 90s. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons as a second round pick in the 1986 NBA Draft. Known for his defensive and rebounding abilities, he was widely regarded as the “best rebounding forward in NBA history”.

He spent 14 seasons in the NBA and played for a number of teams such as the Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

During his career, he won five championships and was named as the Defensive Player of the Year twice. He is also a two-time All-Star and has been named in the All-Defensive Team eight times.

All the success and fame took a toll on him and his family, particularly Trinity. On Call Her Daddy podcast, she was direct when asked about her relationship with Dennis.

He loves the spotlight. He loves the cameras. He loves bringing his children on stage and being like, ‘Oh, these are my kids.’ He’s not a dad. Maybe by blood, but nothing else.

The two are still not on talking terms and it appears that Trinity is still not interested in having any relationship with him in the future. She revealed that they had not spoken to each other for years till the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
