Manchester United vs Crystal Palace Player Ratings
Manchester United

David de Gea (GK) (6.5/10): David didn’t have a whole lot to do as Crystal Palace could only create a handful of chances. He did however make a few saves and was clean with everything that he did on the night.
Diogo Dalot (7.5/10): He was a bit sloppy in the initial stage of the match but with time he got into the thick of things. He created a lot of chances throughout and was a constant threat out wide on the right-hand side.
Lindelof (6.5/10): Lindelof won crucial challenges when Palace tried to counter-attack. He was high up the pitch pressing and winning balls to help his team be on the front foot.
Harry Maguire (6.5/10): Maguire was good with his passing bit and was solid as a rock in the defensive half. He got his head to everything that was thrown into the box by Palace.
Alex Telles (7/10): Another good game for Telles as started ahead of Luke Shaw. He was up and down the whole time giving United an opportunity to stretch the Palace defense.
McTominay (5.5/10): Good on the ball but not so decisive with the tackles that he went for. He was great with his distribution to the players out-wide.
Fred (7/10): Fred was a bit off-color to start off. He was wayward with his passing and long balls outside. But, he did manage to play a part in creating a few chances. He broke the deadlock with a curler from outside the box into the top left corner.
Jadon Sancho (6.5/10): It was more like a Sancho performance that we once used to see at Dortmund. He was out wide and at times he dropped into the center of the field to link up with the likes of Ronaldo, Rahsford and Bruno.
Bruno Fernandes (6/10): Bruno was a constant threat for the Palace defenders. He kept crossing the ball into the box for someone to get to the end of it. He did however miss a few great opportunities to get a shot on target.
Marcus Rashford (5.5/10): Another of those average performances from Rashford. He didn’t really mess up things but neither was he at his best.
Cristiano Ronaldo (6/10): An average night for the great man. He had his chances but wasn’t clinical enough. His work rate was a positive sign and he did create a few chances as well.
Substitutes:
Mason Greenwood (6/10): Greenwood was lively and he did manage to set up the ball for Fred to score.
Anthony Elanga (5/10): It was a rare chance for Elanga to come off the bench. He didn’t light up the arena but he did work hard off the ball.
Donny van de Beek (N/A)
Crystal Palace

Guaita (GK) (6.5/10): The shots kept coming at Guaita but nothing troubled him to that extent. He was clinical in dealing with the ball. However, he had no answers to the magnificent shot by Fred.
Nathan Clyne (5/10): Clyne who was making his first start since February was caught out of position at times. A lot of United’s attack came from his side of the pitch.
Tomkins (6.5/10): Stalwart defending from Tomkins as he did not give an inch of space to any United attacker. He was constantly winning the balls into the box and even blocked a powerful effort from Fred. His header towards the far post created the biggest opportunity of the night for Ayew who failed to convert.
Guehi (5.5/10): Guehi did manage to contain his side of the pitch pretty well but wasn’t quick enough to press the United forwards at times.
Mitchell (6/10): He linked up well with Zaha and was decent on the night but at times he was pressed into some uncomfortable positions by Sancho, Rashford and Bruno.
Schlupp (5.5/10): Schlupp was sitting deep in his own half for the majority of the match. He didn’t really have much impact on the result of the match.
Kouyate (5.5/10): Kouyate had a decent evening as he cut out passing lanes for the opposition and linked up well with the attack and defense. He did however lose the ball in dangerous areas of pitch at times.
Conor Gallagher (6.5/10): He was great with the ball, creating chances and switching defense into attacks. He did put a few dangerous balls into the box for the likes of Benteke and Zaha.
Jordan Ayew (8/10): The biggest chance of the night fell to him but such has been his form that he could not slot it home from the right-hand side of the 6-yard box.
Benteke (5.5/10): He didn’t really have much to do throughout the time he was on the pitch. Benteke was starved of the ball and only had a few chances to threaten the United defense.
Wilfred Zaha (8/10): Zaha was a constant threat from the left-hand side of the pitch. He was linking up with Mitchell to open up United from the left.
Substitutes:
Edouard (5.5/10): He didn’t really have much impact on the match coming on from the bench. He did have his opportunities to run at the defense but failed to create enough threats.
