Leicester and Brighton play a 1-1 stalemate with Welback shining.
In an entertaining match that took place at the King Power Stadium, Leicester City and Brighton played a one-all draw. Brighton was in control of the possession at the start with Alzate and Moder dictating the play. The first half was evenly distributed with both Leicester and Brighton having their chances but Leicester took the lead with a wonderful Paston Daka goal. Brighton kept their calm and continuously kept asking questions from the Leicester defense and was rewarded when Danny Welbeck scored the goal which was assisted by Neal Maupay. The draw saw Brighton move to 9th in the premier league table above Leicester city which is 10th.
Leicester players:

Kasper Schmeichel(GK) (7.5/10)
Schmeichel didn’t have much to do and was sturdy and made an excellent save in the first half. He couldn’t do anything for the We back goal.
James Justin (7.5/10)
Justin looked solid from the start. His presence gave confidence to Leicester who bossed the defense today alongside Mings.
Calgary Soyuncu(8/10)
Soyunchuwas solid. Passed well and dictated the play from the center brilliantly. His positioning was perfect and made amends for his previous performance.
Daniel Amartey(7.5/10)
Amartey made some important interventions and blocks. He played sleekly withholding the ball well and intercepting Brighton passes. He was able to control Trossard to some extent.
Luke Thomas(8/10)
Thomas was solid at the back and was very creative going forward today. His attacking runs, clever in-balls were a constant threat. His form has been excellent and would be beneficial for Leicester in the coming games.
Youri Tielemans(7.5/10)
Tielemans was brilliant today. His sleek and accurate passes helped maintain possession and were lively in the center midfield.
James Maddison(7/10)
Maddinson was playing the number 10 role brilliantly in the first half but dipped in the second half with losing possession and making lazy passes.
Harvey Barnes(8/10)
Barnes was fundamental today in the midfield for Leicester. His passing was intricate and he was the controlling force in the Villa midfield.
Kiernan Dewsbury Hall(7/10)
Hall had an average game with some bright chances in between the game which he squandered. He was a bit off today but was crucial in linking the Leicester play.
Ademola Lookman(7.5/10)
Lookman was a constant threat to Brighton’s defense along with Patson Daka. His shots look dangerous but lacked precision and weren’t clinical.
Patson Daka(8.5/10)
Dakota was brilliant today with his attacking prowess. His clever runs were making spaces for his teammates. He scored sumptuously to give Leicester City the lead.

Replaced Buendia in the 74th minute and did a decent job by performing his duty by rotating the ball well. Got some minutes under his belt.

Sanchez made some fine stops especially near the post against Daka and Lookman and was sturdy throughout the game.
Adam Webster(8/10)
Webster was decent with the passing and made promising through balls in behind which were a constant threat to Leicester.
Joel Veltman(7.5/10)
Velten was solid made important blocks and passed well. He was involved in the attacking play too.
Dan Burn(7.5/10)
The burn was ever solid at the back and neutralized the Leicester attack with elegance. He looked shaky sometimes but dealt with the pressure brilliantly.
Marc Cucurella(8/10)
Cucurella looked sharp from the start and remained composed and made attacking chances which troubled Leicester’s defense. His presence helped Brighton remain undeterred and confident.
Alexis Mac Allister(7/10)
Allister was solid in defending as well as in attack. Made a few important interceptions which helped retrieve possession and also fancied some shots.
Steven Alzate(7.5/10)
Alzate was playing well and was rotating possession cleanly. Tackled cleanly and made a few important interventions and his over-the-top balls were a constant menace to the Leicester defense.
Pascal Grob (7/10)
Grob was quiet and made little effort in the press. His touches were poor and could have been better. He was rightly replaced by Lamptey.
Jakub Moder(7.5/10)
Moder was tidy in possession and made important blocks that were clean although he made some silly fouls that could have been avoided. His positioning was immaculate.
Leandro Trossard(8/10)
Brossard had a decent game today. He looked bright in some moments where his shots threatened the Leicester keeper. He lacked clinical finishing.
Neal Maupay(8/10)
Maupay was making clever runs behind the defenders and contributed significantly to the game. He assisted Welback with a sleek assist.

March was impactful today with his smart positioning and clever passes which troubled the slow legs of the Leicester defense.

Welbeck proved to be the savior for Brighton as he scored a wonderful goal To be the savior for Brighton as he scored a wonderful goal to level things for Brighton. Was a constant threat to the opposition.

Replaced Grob and gave a new life to Brighton with his fresh legs and looked dangerous. Should have started the game with that type of performance.
