Naomi Osaka recently shared a post reflecting her performance at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 and weighed in her thoughts about it. Osaka lit the Olympic cauldron during the opening in Tokyo and there were high hopes on the 4-time Grand Slam champion that she would be the first Japanese tennis player to win a Gold Medal at the Olympics.

However, her dreams of winning a home Olympic Gold were crushed when she was knocked out in the third round after losing to Marketa Vondrusova in straight sets. Playing her 1st Olympics game at home soil was huge pressure for Osaka, who was already struggling with mental health issues prior to the Summer Games.

Despite still being relatively young, Naomi Osaka is still making big girl purchases buying a new home in the L.A. area for $6.3 million. The ultra-luxurious house has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a game room, and a media room. Additionally, the 6,855 sq. ft. home has some pretty cool features fit for a tennis superstar … including, a fitness room, pool, and a basketball court that can be converted into a full-size tennis court.

The Japanese bought the home from Nick Lachey from the boy band 98 Degrees. He and his wife, actress Vanessa Lachey, bought the San Fernando Valley mansion in 2020 for $5.1 mil.

Despite her tender age, Naomi Osaka is one of the biggest personalities in the world of tennis and one of the most famous players in the history of Japanese tennis. Thus, it is no surprise that the 24-year-old has now bought a luxurious house for herself.
