Barcelona Femeni wins the league title after completing a perfect season and not dropping a single point

Barcelona Femeni is the first team in Spanish history to have won all the league games as they end the season with 30 wins in 30 league games.
They defeated Atletico Madrid 2-1 at the Johan Cruyff stadium in the final game of the season as they are crowned the Spanish champions on Sunday. Barcelona Women’s coach Jonatan Giraldez led the team as they scored 159 goals and conceded just 11 goals to finish the historical season and started the journey towards making more histories for the Blaugranas.
Barcelona Femeni had won the treble last season and is set to win the Europen treble this time as they will play Lyon in the Champions League and is due to feature in the Copa de Le Reina semifinal against Real Madrid to complete two consecutive trebles this season becoming the first team to do that.
They defeated Atletico Madrid 2-1 in the final league fixture with goals from Irene Paredes and Aitana Bonmati, the latter being red-carded at the dying moments of the game. The Atletico side pulled one back and also had one player being sent off and also a penalty saved by Barcelona’s goalkeeper.
Barcelona Femeni striker Oshoala wins the Golden Boot in Spain

The 27-year-old Nigerian striker, Asisat Oshoala, is the top goal scorer of the season in the women’s Spanish Primeira Division as the forward netted 20 goals this season out of their 159 total goals. The Super Falcon missed some of the matches with only 19 games in her pocket, but she managed to score 20 goals, sharing the record with Real Madrid’s Geyse Ferreira, who managed 20 goals in 27 matches in the league.
The Nigerian star joined Barcelona in 2019 from Arsenal after appearing in 13 league matches for the Gunners and scoring twice. She managed to score 20 goals in 19 games equalling Geyse’s tally, playing fewer games than the Madrid striker.
