Alexa Bliss has been in the WWE for nine years now and has established herself as one of the prominent figures of the Women‘s section. Alexa Bliss hasn’t received any significant push in recent years, with her last Women’s Championship win being in 2018. Alexa Bliss last major title win was the RAW Women’s Championship win at the Money in the Bank 2018. She had won the MITB contract earlier that night and had cashed in her contract on the then RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax and had defeated her successfully to win the RAW Women’s Championship. Jax had been defeated by Ronda Rousey that night so there wasn’t any title change.

This was Alexa Bliss’ third RAW Women’s Championship reign and she was slated to defend her title at SummerSlam 2018 against Ronda Rousey. At the event, Ronda dominated the whole bout, with Alexa offering very little attacks to Rousey. Alexa fled the ring twice but avoided a countout both times and entered the ring in 5-count. Alexa fled for the third time, when Ronda attempted a Piper’s Pit on her. Ronda then chased her back to the ring at 6-count. Towards the end of the match, Rousey won the title by forcing Alexa to submit to an armbar, and became the first woman to win a title in UFC and WWE, as well as the second person after Brock Lesnar.

Alexa Bliss had expressed sadness of not working with Bray Wyatt

During an interview on the Out of Character Podcast, Alexa Bliss referred to The Fiend as Windham, his real name, and stated that working with Windham was the most fun she had in her whole WWE career and that he was highly creative. Windham, according to Bliss, motivated her to give her all every time. She stated that when she witnessed him working hard on his character, she was inspired to work hard on her own.

When adopting someone else’s gimmick, Alexa said, we should consider upgrading it. She added that she and Windham had made every attempt to do just that. Alexa Bliss expressed her sadness about not working with Windham and said that even WWE Universe had seen how much fun they were having. Alexa performed splendidly during her time with The Fiend, with the WWE Universe praising her acting ability and her chemistry with the Fiend. Since the fiend’s departure from WWE, fans have been disappointed and have criticized Alexa’s run in WWE, with many not happy with the fact that they were separated. In the recent weeks she has been portraying a character that resembles her personality.

Alexa Bliss recently spoke with Metro about her current WWE character. She stated that she is now in uncertain and has no idea where her character is going. She stated that she has changed a lot of characters in nine years and has played more roles than any other lady on the show.

“Now I’m in this limbo of, I don’t know really now where I’m going with my character yet. I kind of evolved so many times in the last nine years – I feel like I’ve had more characters than any other woman on the roster”.

Alexa won the 24/7 Championship for the first time recently, when she defeated Nikki A.S.H but lost it immediately to Doudrop.
