CM Punk has often been termed as the voice of the voiceless throughout his career the superstar never misses an opportunity to diss his former company and is very open to criticize it. Punk had himself left WWE in 2014 due to creative differences before making a much-awaited debut in AEW. The AEW World Champion recently reflected on Vince’s retirement and said that even if he is not there, his presence would be felt. He pointed out that power may change but the culture always remains the same.

The Straight edge superstar would then go on to take shots on the company in reference to their portrayal of Sasha Banks and Naomi when the two walked out on an episode of Raw. He also joked about WWE relying on big stars like Brock Lesnar and who come back for nothing but to disappoint them.

CM Punk had left the company on a bitter note in 2014 after getting frustrated from creative differences.

Punk was talking about the Smackdown segment where Michael Cole issued a public statement on the behalf of the company that how Sasha’s and Namoi’s actions had disappointed millions of fans around the world. But Punk took a jibe on this and said-” Where is Michael Cole saying, ‘Brock Lesnar really let these fans down.”

He also talked about the time when he left the company and how the company labeled him as a ‘quitter,’ “I walked out. They went on TV and called me a quitter. What’s changed? What’s the difference? You’re going to attack these two poor women who had enough and walked. They have bigger balls than everybody there. What’s changed? There’s nothing much that has changed.

“There’s people that talk about it and people who do it. The people who lick the boots and have the audacity to say that about those two women. F***ing cowards and bootlickers. This s**t is ridiculous.” [H/T – Fightful] It seems that Punk has not come to a good terms when it comes to WWE.

Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Raw on May 16th after they felt that the creatives had no plans for them to steer the Tag Team division. Both were the Raw Women’s Tag Team Champions and were scheduled to face Becky Lynch, Nikki Cross and Doudrop in a 6 Pack Challenge Match with Asuka. But both the superstars upset with the creatives walked to the Talent Manager’s office, left the titles on the table and walked out of the building.
