5. X- Bow:

A very strong and reliable defensive structure, the X-Bow is a powerhouse in defence. It can shoot down ground units at long range.

Players can change their target from just ground units to both ground and air units but will have to sacrifice 5 tiles of radius. They are recommended to place their X-Bows deeper in the base to deal prolonged damage.

One of the most late-game, defensive structures that players will unlock during their playthrough of Clash of Clans is the Scattershot. Players will get their hands on this baby at Town Hall level 13.

The Scattershot can target both air and ground units. It deals splash damage and is very useful against teams with a large number of troops with less HP for example GoWiPe.

Additionally, the Inferno Tower has 2 attack modes, single-target, and multi-target. The single-target mode will let Inferno Tower scale its damage to a higher level and can vaporize a troop in the blink of an eye. While multi-target mode will deal constant damage to multiple targets at once.

Players unlock the Eagle Artillery at Town Hall level 11. This is one of the beefiest defensive structures in the game and has a range that can cover the entire map of Clash of Clans.
