Krafton to bring BGMI 2.0?

BGMI was removed from all application platforms on July 28th, nearly completing its first year anniversary on Android devices. Even though the Indian PUBG Mobile remains banned in the country, players who already had the game downloaded are able to play the game till date.
While some obstacles such as UC Purchase or Royal Pass purchase error might have interrupted the gameplay, the game was never taken down from servers unlike PUBG Mobile after a month of its ban. This had convinced the players of the game getting unbanned soon and earlier today, players might have got a green signal.

Some fans pointed out that the in-game lobby of BGMI where players can see the character of other players, a pop-up message claiming ‘The player you are viewing migrated to Battlegrounds Mobile India’. Players might remember that their PUBG Mobile data was migrated to BGMI as well on its release.
This only hints towards one thing that Krafton might be working on a new application or ‘BGMI 2.0′ to be released in the country. Although, these are just speculations as the developers have kept mum since they last stated that they are working to clear the privacy issues in the game.
If the new application is indeed brought for the players on the upcoming months, players can be assured of getting the 2.2 update which is going to add a new map named ‘NUSA‘. In addition to that, fans will also be able to enjoy the Dragon Ball collaboration that is scheduled to appear in Tencent’s PUBG Mobile on 2023.
