“I don’t condone any hate” LeBron James speaks on “harm” Kyrie Irving’s antisemitic post has caused people

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving
LeBron James is back in the NBA headlines and the reason is Brooklyn Nets’ suspended All-Star guard, Kyrie Irving and his unnecessary off-court antics. Kyrie Irving has been facing a lot of criticism since he promoted antisemitism via his social media handles. His actions got him suspended, he even lost his deal with Nike and many around the globe now hate him. LeBron James was recently asked about the situation his former teammate is in and like always King gave a brutally honest answer.
Kyrie Irving right now is the biggest controversial star in the league. He shared a link to an antisemitic film: “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America.” Uncle Drew has got himself in a really messed up situation and it’s all on him. As after sharing the link to the hurting documentary and offending the Jewish Community. He even defended his stand. And, didn’t send out an apology until the Brooklyn Nets decided to suspend him for at least five games.
If Kyrie would have apologized on the various opportunities given to him earlier, things would have been very different. And, now even though he has taken full accountability for his actions it’s just too late and now it doesn’t matter as he is down on the unfortunate losing end. Many around are giving out their opinions, views and takes on it. So did LeBron James in his post-game interview after the Lakers fell short against the Utah Jazz.
LeBron James’ honest take on Kyrie Irving’s controversial situation

LeBron James during the post-game interview was questioned by Dave McMenamin regarding player’s silence about Irving’s social media post. And, LeBron James gave him an honest response as he quoted: “I can tell you this, it’s simple. Me personally, I don’t condone any hate to any kind. To any race. To Jewish communities, to Black communities, to Asian communities. You guys know where I stand.”
Further, LeBron James also mentioned how he didn’t air an episode featuring Kanye West at “The Shop” and scrapped it due to the hate conversations. He stated: “I don’t represent that. There’s no place in this world for it. Nobody can benefit from that and I believe what Kyrie did has caused some harm to a lot of people. He has since, over the last – today, or was it yesterday – he apologized. But he caused some harm, and I think it’s unfortunate.”
LeBron James didn’t just stop there and expressed his stand and views truly by saying: “I don’t stand on the position to harm people when it comes to your voice or your platform or anything. So it doesn’t matter what color your skin is, how tall you are, what position you’re in — if you are promoting or soliciting or saying harmful things to any community that harm people, then I don’t respect it. I don’t condone it.”
LeBron James on resolutions for Kyrie Irving

Dave McMenamin also questioned LeBron James regarding the resolutions Kyrie can take for getting past his current suspension with the Nets and Nike. Replying to it LeBron gave a firm answer and said: “I don’t know. Because at the end of the day, Kyrie is his own man. He stands up in front of the media and speaks. He is a man and [from] a great family. He’s great … I love the kid. He’s not even a kid no more. He’s 30…”
LeBron James further speaking on Kyrie’s situation who helped him win a championship quoted: “I don’t know the direction, the steps that he takes, but he’s apologized for what he said and I hope that he understands that what he said was harmful to a lot of people… I hope he understands what he did and the actions that he took are just harmful to a lot of people. I really didn’t get into it too much. But, I understand that when you’re hurting anybody, I understand that. That is just common sense.”
LeBron James throughout his career has been honest while addressing such situations which can get anyone in trouble. This offseason there were rumors regarding a reunion between the King and Uncle Drew. But after all this unnecessary stuff the Lakers won’t really like to take their chances with Kyrie Irving. He’s without a doubt a solid player and probably the most talented one too as many believe. But if he doesn’t stop hurting people with his off-court antics he may soon be out of the league. Because such controversial actions aren’t tolerated and can get him banned too.
