Pep Guardiola extends Manchester City contract till 2023

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has decided to extend his current contract with the club till 2023. After star player Kevin De Bruyne also decided to sign a new extension, Guardialo too confirms the news.

Guardiola has won the Premier League twice with Manchester City along with the League cup and FA Cup as well. However City is yet to taste Champions League success under him.

According to several reports, Pep Guardiola was approached by Paris Saint Germain. But the Spanish manager insists that he’s extremely happy to be here at Manchester. He’s ready to fight for more trophies.

Ever since I arrived at Manchester City I have been made to feel so welcome in the club and in the city itself, from the players, the staff, the supporters, the people of Manchester and the chairman and owner,” Guardiola said.

Since then we have achieved a great deal together, scored goals, won games and trophies, and we are all very proud of that success. Having that kind of support is the best thing any manager can have. I have everything I could possibly want to do my job well.

I’m incredibly happy here,” Guardiola said. “I’m delighted to be happy here and hopefully I can do a good job here this season to stay longer.”

Khaldoon Al Mubarak has assured Pep Guardiola that he has the full backing of Sheikh Mansour. Guardiola was informed he would receive funds if he felt it was Manchester City remain interested in Lionel Messi.
