Babar Azam caught in honey trap? S**ting videos and images takes internet by storm
His supporters asserted that the videos have been altered to defame the skipper, calling the recordings fake, while others are slamming his personality.

Babar Azam
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is one of the big names in modern-day cricket. But owing to the team’s poor performance in the home series, he faced harsh criticism. Unfortunately, he also finds himself in a dirty situation, off the field, where a series of his se*ting images and videos were heavily circulated on social media.
In a viral video, Babar could be seen se*ting with the girlfriend of another Pakistani player. It cannot be said whether the video is showing the truth as Babar couldn’t be heard speaking.
It’s now up to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) how they handle this situation. His supporters asserted that the videos have been altered to defame the skipper, calling the recordings fake, while others are slamming his personality.

Also, it’s not the first time that Babar found himself in such a situation. Previously, a woman, Hamiza Mukhtar, and accused the 28-year-old of blackmail, se*ual assault, and other wrongs. But later, she removed all the charges against him.
A similar incident happened ahead of the 2021-2022 Ashes series. The then-Australia skipper Tim Paine got caught in a similar situation. After that Paine was sacked as Australia’s skipper, and Cricket Australia never picked him for any international matches.
PCB can sack Babar Azam as Pakistan’s captain
Prior to this incident, Babar Azam faced flak due to the team’s continuous failure on the field. Last year, they faced a forgettable 3-0 defeat against England at home, which was also the first time that Pakistan lost a series on home soil.

After the sacking of former chairman Ramiz Raja, the PCB led by Najam Sethi may take some strict actions to revamp Pakistan’s cricket team. They are set to review and analyze the team composition and structures for all three formats. And as under Babar, Pakistan lost four consecutive Test matches on home soil, the top brass can challenge his position, which might lead to his being sacked as captain from one format.
