“He wants to be traded,” Bob McCown reveals Raptors’ OG Anunoby wants OUT amid 2022-23 struggles
Longtime radio host Bob McCown said Tuesday that OG Anunoby "wants to be traded" from the Raptors.

Midway through a poor season in Toronto, rumors began to pick up steam as whispers over the course of the summer suggested that OG Anunoby might want out. OG Anunoby is looking for a trade, radio personality Bob McCown revealed on his podcast on Tuesday.
“I talked to an insider in the NBA yesterday on the phone,” McCown said. According to McCown, who also said he wasn’t sure what was behind the rumor about leaving the raptors, he reiterated Anunoby, “wants to be traded.”
“Just by accident, he called me. He’s a guy I’ve known for several years. He tells me that OG Anunoby wants out of Toronto. Anunoby wants out. He wants to be traded. I don’t know if they’re trying to do something. He’s a name that’s been out there for quite some time.”
There have been rumors about OG Anunoby being dissatisfied in Toronto before. In May, Jake Fischer said that the forward was “unhappy with his job” and that teams were reportedly approaching. OG Anunoby said he “can’t do anything” to prevent his name from making headlines.

Raptors Hold Massive OG Anunoby Trade Offer in Hand

As the NBA trade deadline approaches, many eyes will be on the Toronto Raptors team in the upcoming weeks. There has been talk that some significant trades may be forthcoming before the trade deadline on February 9. This is due to their recent inability to gain ground in the Eastern Conference standings.
On the other end of the spectrum is OG Anunoby, who understands that a trade package containing three first-round picks is nothing to laugh at. That would make him as valuable on the trade market as Dejounte Murray was for the San Antonio Spurs when they dealt him to the Atlanta Hawks, depending on the protections placed on them.
The Indiana graduate OG Anunoby, who is a two-way star and a contender for Defensive Player of the Year, is having a breakthrough season while staying healthy and increasing his effectiveness once more. He is the ideal wing player that teams want when building their rosters, thus it stands to reason that his asking price would be extremely high.
