Davante Adams‘ debut with the New York Jets did not go as anticipated. He was supposed to be torching the Pittsburgh Steelers, catching passes from close friend Aaron Rodgers.
Instead, Adams had one of the worst games of his career as Russell Wilson and his teammates ran riot at home. With the attention of cameramen on the emotions of the two Jets stars, they picked up some unusual activities from the sidelines.
First was when the two offensive stalwarts were sitting on the bench watching the Steelers continue their march toward their end zone. The camera first panned to Davante Adams, when he was telling something to his friend.
Then, as it was expected for Rodgers to respond, the camera panned towards the four-time league MVP. But instead of saying anything, the Jets QB picked his nose. Then, in a jiffy, he ate the boogers off from the fingers that picked them.

Fans and other production houses made a clip of this incident and spread it on social media. Considering the grossness of the activity, the clippings have since gone viral. Fans do understand that Aaron Rodgers was sitting baffled unable to figure out how things went so wrong for his team. Especially in a game where they could have won, if not at least go toe to toe with the Steelers.
Russell Wilson led his teammates to a convincing 37-15 win over the New York Jets. The veteran QB, starting his first game for his new team, threw two touchdowns and ran in one to pile on the points. But he should thank his defense for picking off Rodgers twice, which helped them gain possession and scoring opportunities.
Feeding on boogers was not enough for Aaron Rodgers
If feeding on his boogers was not enough for Aaron Rodgers to catch the wrong limelight, he did something else during the game too that caught people off guard. Before the dismantling at the hands of Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Jets were down only one point. That was the chance the Jets had to continue scoring points.

But before the star QB went on to the field, a video clipping showed him sniffing from a bottle. To the keen-eyed, it becomes clear that he did not take a sip from the bottle. That caused many eyebrows to rise, considering no one knew what the contents of that bottle were.

If anything, after sniffing from that bottle, Aaron Rodgers proceeded to record his second interception of the night.
That ball bounced off Garrett Wilson and into the hands of Beanie Bishop Jr. He ran it back to the Jets 1-yard line, setting up his Steelers for their next touchdown. A costly sniff, one could add.
