The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to have finally found their replacement for their legendary quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger as they drafted University of Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. The 23-year old will only have a short trip to make to the other side as he gears up to play in the NFL next season. Kenny Pickett has shown great promise as a quarterback for the University of Pittsburgh college football side, and has earned plenty of plaudits for his performances. However, the rookie quarterback will have to compete with Steelers' free agent signing, Mitch Trubisky for a spot in the starting lineup.
