The 2025 ABN AMRO Open also known as the Rotterdam Open is a men’s tennis tournament that is played on indoor hard courts. It is set to take place at the Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The tournament is named after its main sponsor- ABN AMRO Bank N.V., the third-largest Dutch bank.
This will be the 52nd edition of the Rotterdam Open, and part of the ATP Tour 500 series on the 2025 ATP Tour. The tournament also includes a wheelchair tennis singles and doubles draw for both men and women.
Several top players will be participating in this tournament, e.g. Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Alex de Minaur, Andrey Rublev, Holger Rune, Arthur Fils and Hubert Hurkacz. Players like Mees Rottgering, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Botic van de Zandschulp and Stan Wawrinka have received a wild card entry into the tournament.
Some players have withdrawn from the tournament such as the previous year’s champion Jannik Sinner. The World No. 1 cited the need to rest after winning his second Australian Open title last week as the reason for not playing. In this tournament, he will be replaced by Jakub Mensik, a young and emerging talent.
Some other players who have withdrawn from the tournament are Grigor Dimitrov, Jack Draper and Sebastian Korda. Most of them have cited injuries sustained during the Australian Open 2025 as a reason for withdrawing from the Rotterdam Open.
2025 ABN AMRO Open Schedule
The Rotterdam Open is scheduled to take place between 1 and 9 February 2025. It is one of the 16 ATP Tour 500 tournaments. 1st February will feature the qualifier matches, and 2nd February will feature the Round of 32.
The Round of 16 will take place on 5th February, and the quarterfinals will take place the day after on 6th February. The semifinals and finals will take place on 8th and 9th February respectively.

Tennis fans are particularly excited and anticipating to watch World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz in action. The Spaniard will be competing in his debut Rotterdam Open tournament.
