Adelaide Oval’s onsite hotel to serve as a bio-secure bubble for India-Australia Tests

India’s upcoming tour of Australia is one of the most anticipated series in the 2020-21 Indian cricket calendar. India are slated to play 4 Tests followed by 3 ODIs, starting from 3rd December 2020.
Meanwhile, Cricket Australia has announced that Adelaide’s onsite hotel will form the bio-security bubble for Australia during the India series. The Board further said that the team will serve the mandatory quarantine period in Adelaide. Australia will play the last match of the series against England on 16th September 2020.
As per the reports, all the Australian players who are not a part of this year’s IPL will start training in Adelaide for the upcoming season.
Australia have a lot of players who won’t play IPL 2020 but are a part of the upcoming India series. Players such as Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Marnus Labuschagne and Mathew Wade will mark their Test preparation to take on India in December.

Earlier, Australian spinner, Nathon Lyon expressed his excitement to take on India in the upcoming 4-match Test series. Lyon said that the series holds the same importance as Ashes. He further said that it will be a great challenge facing the Virat Kohli and Co. The last time India visited Australia, they created history by winning the first ever Test Series in Australia 2-1.
“I can’t wait for India to come out … that’s the pinnacle, like the Ashes,” Lyon was quoted as saying by the report in cricket.com.au. “You look at the great players India’s got, it’s going to be a massive challenge.” Lyon was quoted as saying by the report in cricket.com.au.
