Terry Rozier and Abella Danger

Miami Heat star Terry Rozier has been making headlines in and around the NBA after a recent revelation made by Adult star Abella Danger. She recently sat down with the ‘Nelk Boys’ on their ‘One Night with Steiny’ podcast to discuss her favorite team, the Miami Heat’s recent struggles. However, she ended up spilling the tea on Rozier in the process.

Danger claimed on the podcast that Rozier was all over her ‘Instagram’ while talking about the Heat in general. She claimed that the Heat should get rid of Rozier immediately after speaking about his actions towards her. Danger also stated that Rozier liked all of her social media posts but did not text her on the podcast.

One day I woke up and my notifications were being blown up, every single one of my posts. He didn’t even DM me, he just liked every single one of my pictures.

Nelk Boys podcast host Steiny responded hilariously as he claimed the 6 foot 1 guard is ‘shooting his shot.’ In addition, Danger also touched on a sensitive topic regarding Rozier. She spoke about the Heat player’s alleged ‘gambling scandal.’ However, the podcast host quickly diverted the topic and advised Danger to not talk about it on the show.

Per reports, Rozier is the second NBA player that the federal authorities of the United States have looked into for potentially altering his performance as part of a sports betting conspiracy. In July 2024, Jontay Porter, a former center for the Toronto Raptors, entered a guilty plea to one felony count of conspiracy to conduct wire fraud.

Heat star Terry Rozier is under investigation for ‘sports betting’

In January 2025, the NBA announced that Terry Rozier, the point guard for the Miami Heat, was being investigated for a sports betting scam. In March 2023, the league received a warning about questionable wagering related to Rozier. NBA spokesperson Mike Bass verified in a statement that Rozier, who was a member of the Charlotte Hornets at the time, was playing for the New Orleans Pelicans.

The league conducted an investigation and did not find a violation of NBA rules. We are now aware of an investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York related to this matter and have been cooperating with that investigation.

Authorities from the Eastern District of New York are looking into Rozier’s schemes, according to The Wall Street Journal. Should those changes have taken place, they might have been the result of a determined attempt to further an unlawful conspiracy.

Authorities are investigating Rozier as part of a larger federal investigation into potential game-rigging and performance manipulation in several sports. However, they have not charged him with a crime or sued him in a civil suit over these concerns.

Terry Rozier recently opened up on frustrating ‘neck injury’

Terry Rozier, a guard for the Miami Heat, missed the remainder of the season due to a troubling neck issue shortly after turning thirty last year. It serves as a reminder of how suddenly last season ended for Rozier, who turned 31 this month. In addition, Rozier opened up on this lately, stating he does not want to go through something like that again.

I’m not really a guy who tries to backtrack on a lot of things. I just try to move forward and see where life can take me. But obviously, I don’t think anybody wants to go through something like that.

Rozier, who started the season as a Heat starter, is currently on the bench rotation’s periphery. Rozier has now received three DNP-CDs (did not play, coach’s choice) this season, despite playing in all 49 of the first matches he was available for. It remains to be seen how the offseason will shape his future.
