The importance given to women’s wrestling has risen tremendously over the past few years, especially since the women’s revolution a decade ago. Female wrestlers have even main-evented WrestleMania, and the promotion is doing its best to showcase them on the same level as the men. However, in the days past, several demeaning match stipulations were put in place for women. While most fans are glad that these are gone, Kendra Lust seems to be of the opinion that they should be brought back.
In a recent post on Instagram, Kendra Lust said that now that Raw was streaming on Netflix, she wanted to see WWE bring back the Bra & Panties match stipulation. This request was accompanied by an AI-generated image of herself wearing lingerie branded with the Raw logo.
A Bra & Panties match could take place between any number of female competitors, with the winner being the first opponent to strip their opponent to nothing but her bra and panties. This is similar to an evening gown match. This match is also won the same way, but the competitors start out in evening gowns.
The first Bra & Panties match took place in WWE in 2000 between Lita and Trish Stratus. The company held several such matches in the Ruthless Aggression for the next few years. The last televised match with this stipulation took place at the Great American Bash 2005. This bout was held between Melina and Torrie Wilson, with Candice Michelle acting as the special guest referee.
Kendra Lust is a huge fan of WWE and good friends with Bayley
As one can tell from this post, Kendra Lust is actually a huge WWE fan. She has apparently been watching the product for several years and is even friends with some of the superstars. She is famously a great friend of Bayley. The two have been seen meeting backstage at WWE live events whenever the adult actress shows up at a show. Furthermore, she even left an NSFW comment on a recent post by the Role Model.
