Let’s make no mistake about it: Darby Allin is a freak of nature. In the latest chapter of The Daredevil’s life, he revealed that he was hit by a bus in New York City. Allin made the revelation on his Instagram account. In addition to that, the AEW wrestler showed a graphic image of possibly a broken nose.

For most people, this would be a gruesome and horrific experience. However, the former TNT Champion shrugged it off and continued his day as normal. Allin has been absent from AEW television for over a month. On the Big Business edition of Dynamite, he suffered a broken foot during his match against Jay White

The Daredevil was set to embark on a high-risk mission and ascend to the top of Mt. Everest. However, the injury forced him to postpone the plan. At the moment, there is no timetable specified for his return to the ring. Prior to the injury, Darby Allin teamed with Sting in the latter’s retirement match at AEW Revolution

Living up to his promise of giving his all in his mentor’s final match, he performed a Swanton off a ladder on to a glass pane. Despite that, The Icon picked up the win for his team and emerged victorious in his farewell bout. Now, fans are eagerly anticipating Allin’s return, as many are hoping for a future World Title run.

Swerve Strickland heaped praise on Darby Allin after winning AEW World Championship

A week ago, Swerve Strickland made history when he became the first African-American to win the AEW World Championship. Unsurprisingly, the Mogul Embassy leader has laid out an open challenge to anyone who wants the title. In a recent interview with WJXT, he spoke about the possibility of facing Darby Allin.

Strickland put over The Daredevil by pointing out that they were similar in many ways. While asserting that he was a “maniac” the champion revealed it was a reason why they’ve been getting along for a long time. Moreover, The New Flavor claimed that he considers Allin a twin brother.

Needless to say, fans might have to wait for a while to watch these two collide in the ring. Strickland defeated Claudio Castagnoli on last night’s Collision, which marked his first successful title defense. Only time will tell what the future holds for the new AEW Champion.
