AEW Dynamite: Big Business might’ve been the best wrestling television episode this year. The night started strong with the star who everyone waited to see, Mercedes Mone, arriving in front of her hometown crowd. There were no questions about it; the seven-time Women’s Champion was the focal point throughout the show. On this huge occasion, Mone had some friends in town from the rival promotion. Most notably, Bayley was in attendance to show her support.

During the opening segment, Mone made her much-awaited debut for AEW. While she was cutting an impassionate promo, fans captured one of WWE’s biggest stars in the audience. Bayley was spotted shooting the enduring moment from presumably an iPad. Moreover, another WWE star and close friend of Mone, Tamina Snuka, was seen alongside her.

Prior to the show, PWInsider reported that Bayley, Tamina, and Naomi were in Boston to support the CEO. Interestingly, this was not the first time and isn’t the last that the top female stars crossed over promotions to attend shows. In January, Mercedes Mone and Bayley attended a TNA event to support Naomi. Last year, the WWE stars flew to Japan just to be there for the formerly known Sasha Banks. As such, they have have been spotted together at neutral events as well.

Mone debuted with a bang on Dynamite. In a CM Punk-esque debut, she walked out to a massive pop. Later in the night, the CEO saved Willow Nightingale from a beatdown from TBS Champion, Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Needless to say, it was a “perfect” start to the AEW career of one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time.

What’s next for Mercedes Mone?

Now that the hottest free agent in wrestling has stepped foot in AEW, fans are eager to see Mercedes Mone in action. After an eight-month absence due to injury, the CEO will soon step foot inside the squared circle. However, many are wondering who the former Women’s Champion will face in her in-ring debut.

Following the closing angle, Mone might be headed to a match against TBS Champion, Julia Hart. AEW will look to capitalize on her star power and have her win the title straightaway. Other possible feuds for the 32-year-old can come against the likes of Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa.

Ahead of her debut, fan speculation suggested that she would go after Saraya, fka Paige. The two former WWE Superstars have a lot of history between them, which can lead to a personal rivalry. Most importantly, it will be interesting to see in how much time Mone claims the top prize, the AEW Women’s Championship.
